For anyone who thinks, for even a moment, that being “President of The United States” is all cakes and ale, then you my friend are laboring under a misconception of monumental proportions! Not only does this office hold the power over life and death for entire nations, it also determines the political makeup of the entire planet for decades, if not centuries, to come! Now I fully realize that this means little or nothing to some of those who were born to liberty and freedom, nor do many of you fully appreciate what it would be like if we would have lost either of “Our World Wars” or had the Brits been successful in 1775 or in 1812?

Granted, many of those whom we fought to the death in times past, are now our fast friends, or at least as close to friends as any foreign entity could ever be - “Foreign Entity” being the key words here! But for the record, the only true ally that we can genuinely count upon – is ourselves, and ourselves alone!

And last, but certainly not least, always remember the immortal words (1807) of “Our Third – President, Thomas Jefferson” (Arguably, one of Our Most Memorable Leaders): “When a man assumes a public trust, he should consider himself as public property!”
