Thumbs up

Thank y'all very much. As most of us that were in Vietnam can attest , there were several days I was sure I would not make it to my next birthday. God has blessed me in so many ways. I count , as one of my many blessings , the people I have met because of this site and the peace and understanding it has given me and my family. I was born to be an Opa ! Now y'all keep movin we all got a ways to go. Scouts out , Sir !!

Hope it was a GREAT ONE Gramps Lt. and thanx Lil' Lt for reminding us. Day 'fore yesterday I went to a birthday party for a lil' guy, Lee, named after his Aunt Amanda (Mandy) Lee and Great Gramma Joanne Lee. Took two grandsons and one grandaughter with me. Gotta be one of the best birthday parties these ol' bones ever been to. Donno if I was much of a Granpa but I'm gonna be a Great Granpa.

Thumbs up

John , I went to Home Depot the day I learned that Mandy had gone Home , to buy some plants for my garden. They had a cement angel there , that seemed to be looking at me. I bought the angel and named her Mandy. She stands over my garden every spring and summer and on my birthday , Sunday , she watched my grandbabies and I plant this years garden.
