Multinational Euro Helo Wing Idea Gains Traction

BRUSSELS - The idea of creating a multinational helicopter wing is beginning to make headway among European Union members in these times of financial crisis. The proposal, which is set out in an informal document obtained by Defense News, is to set up a helicopter wing made up of heavy-lift, medium-lift and attack helicopters for use in expeditionary and civil disaster operations.
