Now that was an oxymoron.

Wow Keith,
You got so many of us walking on thin ice. We're mentally unbalanced, on the high wire, electrically charged with ions. I'm gonna take up golf and get some use outta them ions. Been using this putta too long. Need to drive something home and make a statment.

Whoa Nelly!
I know that New Hampshiire and Vermont have wit. Maine isn't too bad but Massachusetts wit, now that is questionable. Just ask Andy, the guy lacks humor. All he does is play practical jokes on the cop across the street, and the prosecuting attorney visiting the morgue.
When I was stationed at Ft. Devens we had this guy that was riding his motorcylce up in NH and crashed in a farmers front yard. The farmer looked at the kid lying in a heap in his front yard and said, "Gee, I hope you didn't hurt my yard." The kid thought the old farmer was the most uncaring guy he ever met. I thought it was funny. Keith |

Andy's Going to come in and Straighten Us Out!
Andy once accused me of shoveling the bull. I told him. I was raised on a Dairy Farm and got really good at it..
In truth, While stationed at Ft. Devens I had many New England friends and they were all great guys. The vast majority New Englanders were great people. I had friends from New Hampshire, Mass, Conn, Maine. All great guys. But don't let Andy know I like New Englanders. We had this group of New York City boys. Most had a couple of years of college and got drafted. They were so dumb that they thought everybody else was stupid but them. When I made E-5 they were placed in my barracks squad. Making sure the barracks was kept cleaned and polished. They didn't do a thing the first week. Laughed because I cleaned up after them. I didn't say a word. I just went into the office pulled all their passes. They spent the weekend confined to the post. They always went back to the Big Apple every weekend. Boy, were they angery, cussed and yelled. I told them very calmly, you thought you were getting by neglecting your work and had made snide remarks about how easy it was going to be with Hixson in charge. Now you are paying for it. I will pull your passes on a whim if you don't perform, got the picture. They were jerks!!!! I don't believe all New Yorkers are like that but these guys really thought that if you weren't born and educated in New York your were a lower class citizen. Jerks. But they never crossed me again. Keith, please remember that all of NY isn't NYC. Most of this educated country doesn't even know that. So, if we don't do well in therapy, you pull the passes? What about the Holiday party, is that exempt? I am getting nervous now.
