What a special man, Andy was. He willl be with all of us until the day we get to join him again. Annette we cry with you. His pain is over. God now has called home one of the best that He ever put down here.

On another thread Sis posted a picture of Andy , in Viet Nam , off the 187th's web site. I contacted the web master of that site and told them of his passing. He wrote me back and said they are sending flowers and a condolence card. He also said he had entered a tribute to him on the site. I miss him so much.

Although we had known each other since way back in the History Channel boards,I didn`t know how close we were until we met that afternoon in Massachusetts when we learned that we were both in the Triangle at the same time-now I could put a face to my Lt saying "Don`t sweat it;the Mech boys are on our flank." Thanks,Brother.And thanks for the call from Branson at the 25thID reunion when you said "I got a couple a hundred grunts here that want to say thank you to a crazy Engineer!" I`ll never forget that.And I`ll never forget that you cared so much for your brother`s health,especially after you were diagnosed.You are a true hero and I love you,Andy.Save me a good seat.
