It could be, just maybe, that Khaddafi has seen the light emanating from several sources, the burning of military buildings in Iraq not the least of them. He may also be feeling the squeeze of sanctions imposed upon him and band of sandhoppers, and knows that the only way he can improve things is to behave like a fairly normal human.

The first thing I'd tell him is, "Fire your tailor. You dress like a light-in-the-loafers spice peddler." Then I'd tell him that we want to buy oil from him, at $20-22 per barrel, take or leave it. And to make sure we're getting what we paid for, I'd tell him that a group of oil production/refinery experts are going to be semi-permanent residents in Tripoli, and that any and all improvements to his production and refining capability will be purchased from American companies. And finally, I'd tell him that if he so much as spits on the sidewalk, or harms one of the oil experts, we'll demonstrate other sources of light.

No-way-in-hell can ANY America and democracy despising and hating Middle Eastern or Arab/Muslim DICTATOR be trusted, much less Kaddafi.

It doesn't matter one iota that most American and Western politicians and/or political leaders perpetually and more often than not, trust such whom would much prefer all Infidels dead, similarly as most their Muslim Dictatorial relatives or just neighbors would.

After all, The Average Man (Woman also) On The Street know full well that political BS from ANY DICTATORS is infinitely worse than all the political BS We Americans and Westerners are normally forced enduring. Foolishly accepting such political BS from Muslim or ANY DICTATORS,......COULD GET US ALL DEAD, all you whom place politics ABOVE ALL ELSE fools. Politics ABOVE ALL ELSE fools,...please wise-up.

America simply can't handle much more of such a naive and quite foolish governance, and especially during this war on terrorism, which ironically and quite troubling...many career politicos seem quite oblivious to. "9/11" apparently taught the fools alluded to,...ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
