How Billionaire John Kerry Sold Out Vietnam POWs & MIAs
http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2...6/124222.shtml
"Unfortunately, Mr. Kerry came home to Massachusetts, the one state George McGovern carried in 1972. He joined the Vietnam Veterans Against the War and emceed the Winter Soldier Investigation (both financed by Jane Fonda)," Stephen Sherman, who was a first lieutenant with the U.S. Army Fifth Special Forces Group (Airborne) in Vietnam in 1967-68, writes in today's Wall Street Journal. "Many veterans believe these protests led to more American deaths, and to the enslavement of the people on whose behalf the protests were ostensibly being undertaken. But being a take-charge kind of guy, Mr. Kerry became a leader in the VVAW and even testified before Congress on the findings of the Investigation, which he accepted at face value. "In his book 'Stolen Valor,' B.G. Burkett points out that Mr. Kerry liberally used phony veterans to testify to atrocities they could not possibly have committed. ... "Mr. Kerry hasn't given me any reason to trust his judgment. As co-chairman of the Senate investigating committee, he quashed a revealing inquiry into the POW/MIA issue, and he supports trade initiatives with the Socialist Republic of Vietnam while blocking any legislation requiring Hanoi to adhere to basic human rights. ... Kerry is a big stooge for JFK. JFK started the Vietnam War and it was basically a business deal to make the Kennedys and LBJ richer. LBJ wanted a bigger cut so he had JFK whacked in Dallas. |

If the Democrats are stupid enough to nominate Kerry - particularly for his war record - they better be willing to deal with the incontrovertable fact that Kerry deserted (note the use of the term) his fellow soldiers who were still in rice paddies facing the enemy. It was the ultimate betrayal. It cost more American lives, and many Vietnam vets (incuding me) blame Kerry, Jane Fonda and VVAW for the ultimate failure of the U.S. to succeed in it's obligation (SEATO) to Vietnam. Regards, |

Re: How Billionaire John Kerry Sold Out Vietnam POWs & MIAs
Well, US people
If you want another disaster, another VN, change the president and his team. You guys must learn something in VN war. Stick together until the end or you will die ...miserably, slowly, numerously as in VN. the only way to deal with dictatorship and barbarians is put a gun on his head. That's what your president doing. See what 8 years of democrats brought to you: a ridiculous trial of president about the sex definition and a disaster September 11th. If I was a US citizen, I will vote for Republican party. You are at war, for god sake. But, then, >some folks are blessed with simple minds. Desertion is a fairly simple matter that is only misunderstood by those on the left who keep screaming that GWB is a "deserter". I'd be interested in your complicated explanation of Kerry's betrayal of his troops. Regards, |
