Thumbs up Saved by the sticker - again

After meeting Sid for Happy Hour , which we turned into two hours , I was driving home when a cop passes me going the opposite way. I look in the rear mirror and see him whip around and turn on his blue lights. I pull over turn off the truck and put my hands on top of the wheel and stare ahead. I wait and wait but still no officer asking for my license. I finally turn my head to the rear and see a cop with a 16 pointed at me and him one stepping towards me slowly. I yelled at him to be careful of that 16 he had pointed at me. Saw him glance at me and the sticker on my truck - VN service sticker. He took the weapon off me and looked like a kid. He said " sorry sir we had a report of a white truck shooting up mail boxes. Guess it wasn't you huh ? " I said no it wasn't. He said he was sorry and got back in his cruiser with the other cop who had me covered on the right side. Never did ask to see my licience , just drove away. . There would have been a long silence if he would have asked if I had anything in the truck that could do him harm. A sticker on Franks helmet says DO NOT ARREST THIS MAN. Saved by the sticker again !

LT ya need to quit livin' so close to the edge...

pickup trucks in no parkin' zones...

stopped for being under the suspicion of shootin' up mail boxes...

"A man came on the six o'clock news said somebody's been hurt somebody's been abused

Somebody shot up a mail box but he didn't get far they just followed him down to the Outhouse Bar"

If you shoot up a mailbox...
does that make you a postal worker?

So you're the guy huntin' mailboxes 'round here.
Travis, watch what you say 'bout Georgia. If we shoot at mailboxes for sport it's only because there isn't a Yankee handy at the time. (Damn Yankees not included)

Is there an open season on mail boxes over there? What's the limit? Are you limited to size of calibre or can you just shoot 'em with anythang?
Be safe, altho I don't think any of 'em shoot back!
Scouts Out!!

Only thing I had in the truck was a 12 ga ; 22 ; and 38. Guess I could have pepper sprayed and stabed one but not a lot of fun. Doesn't seem to be any limit in my hood.

The only mailboxes I ever got would properly be classified as "roadkill". I had no idea they were good eatin'.
