Redeployment of USS George Washington

...news just out on possible redeployment of the USS George Washington within 96 hours...

...I told my wife the day it came in, the 20th, that it was only for refueling,(she bought that), and re stocking, and for the men, and women to have a quick leave with the families, and that she would be headed back to the Gulf soon...

...I see it as giving them the break while the others get their feet wet, or sand between the toes,...

... how long does it take for one of them to leave port, and sail halfway around the world?,...

...when???...

...and thinking about it, did they know prior to coming in, that they only had 10 days, or 15???...

I can't say for sure but I think it took us almost 12 days to get to PI last I recall. I think you're real close to the 15 days but the ships are faster now so I don't really know.

Figure 500 miles per day at 20 knots. If its 9000 miles it would be 18 days.

Something big is about to happen I wonder if N. Korea will be getting a surprise at that nuke plant?

From what I've been hearing all we are going to do is talk and talk but let's face it N.Korea don't have any oil hell they don't have anything but WMD so your gress is as good as mine.
