Knight's Table Dining Facility Closure The Knight's Table Dining Facility will be closed 17 June to 8 Sept. due to reconstruction. Basic Allowance for Substance for Essential Station Messing or meal card personnel has been approved during this timeframe. Members need to plan accordingly! A meal deduction amount will still show on servicemember's June LES. From June 17 - 30th, members will be responsible for buying their own meals but not see the funding until their June 30th paycheck. It is important for members to check their LES at each month. If members are on meal deductions, it will show as such in the deductions portion on personnel's LES. Supervisors should check with their Airmen to ensure they can financially shoulder the burden of purchasing all their meals until EOM June paycheck. During this time the daily BAS rate will increase by $9.25 / day (roughly $277.50 / month). Cost of Living Allowance, which is based on rank, time in service, and macroeconomic factors, will also increase by an average of $5.60 / day (roughly $168 / month). Members can research their future COLA at: http://www.defensetravel.dod.mil/site/colaCalc.cfm, Locality Code: UK352 and mark "Living In Barracks as NO" (previously coded Living In Barracks = YES) If you have any financial questions regarding this matter, please contact 1st Lt.
