Default Bush orders US troops

I've never done this before but I'd like to make a comment regarding the "Bush orders troops out of Germany" post. If this is deleted I understand, however a couple of points should be made.
************

This really annoys me and I hear it almost every time US troops are sent into harms way. The US Constitution says only congress can declare war, thus this war is unconstitutional. That is like saying, swearing at a sports official at a game is illegal and the persons who do it shall be arrested, (a real law in almost all states, and how often is it enforced)?

In 1803 Tom Jefferson got tired of the Barbary Pirates seizing American shipping in the Mediterranean Sea. Without consulting congress, he sent a fleet to visit the Pirates and kick some butt. Congress did, Congress said almost nothing, they abrogated their rights and responsibilities in 1803. Not only is there this original precedent, in the history of our nation we have been involved in over 100 wars, five of them have been declared by congress, Just Five!

Presidents who were Democrat, Republican, Federalist, Wigs - liberal, conservative have all been in office when these conflicts have taken place. There are bad things to be said about Bush, things that should be said. However, this is not one of them. Lets see, can we name times when Clinton ?Unconstitutionally? declared war?

By the way, linking Bush with Nazi Germany is like saying France is a nationalistic country. France is also a Socialistic country. Thus, they are National Socialists, Nazi is an abbreviation for National Socialist, therefore France is a Nazi nation. It?s?. just?.. nonsense.

Stay healthy,
Andy

Appreciate the thoughts. The posts I make are not my words but the words of others that have been digging much deeper than any of us can or seem to be willing to. Does that make them right? I don't thinkso, but it should make us take a hard look at the goings on of today. I am trying to post alternative views that like it or not have to be looked at as possibilities. If you can't respond with some form of documentation other than your own personal knowledge how are we to know that anything is true by anyone. Yes these are unpopular views on this forum but if you can prove that the Bush family hasn't been in bed with the Nazis, the Bin Ladens, Haliburton, etc. then do so. I believe we are being set up for another event in the coming months that will make 9/11 look like a cakewalk. Just the same I appreciate all the input as long as you can give me a source to follow and respond to. We are all in this together like it or not. I am not saying that I have the only truth but it seems that if I post an article by someone that calls Bush treasonous then I can get booted off the forum. What happened to free speech? As long as my posts don't piss off anyone or step on anybodies toes I'm safe? To me that smacks of fascism. Where was everyone when Clinton was blowing smoke up everyone's butt with Lewinsky and all the while dealing with the Red Chinese giving away and selling beacoup secrets and technology. What happened at Los Alamos when the Reds got away with all those nuclear technologies? Something is fishy here folks and Alex Jones,Tom Flocco, Sherman Skolnick, Jeff Rense, and others are doing a better job of reporting what's really happening than the read from teleprompter reporters on the nightly news. How can I not be angry and upset as I watch our slow sojourn into more and more Government control under the guise of terrorism? As I have said before, just because the laws aren't deeply affecting you doesn't mean they are OK! Try reading the links I put with my articles investigate and substantiate. If I'm wrong that's fine, this isn't a game of who's more right or wrong, it is a journey to find as much truth as possible and make corrections on the course that we are sailing into the future for those that have paid the price for freedom and for our children and grand children and future generations.

Doc...

You forget that this site is privately owned. It's not a public street. In my view it isnot facismto submit to the guidelines set forth by the owners of thissite out of respect for them and the stated mission of the site. Where I come from it's justcommon curtesy

I respect the work that is done here and accept David's decision regard any thread or post thatI might make because I trust his motives completely. I know Bern and David have the best interest ofour Active Duty Militaryandour Veterans in mind when they make decisions regarding this site. The man hours and finances they dedicate to maintaining this site is proof enough to meof their dedication.

Arrow, Thanks once again for clearing up my misunderstanding. Although we are diametrically opposed in views you are the one I respect the most because you do your homework better than anyone and often have a way of leveling the field as a result. My bad in not understanding that this is privately owned and as such posting anything that might upset the status quo is not acceptable. I understand that rules are rules but isn't there some place we can meet on the path to the truth. I will do my best to abide by the rules and I will speak as truthfully as I can but posting articles that question the status quo whether this is a private or public forum are what I seek to have answered. I will reread the rules because history is being made and we are all part of it like it or not , private or public. Arrow would you do me one tiny favor and look over this documentation and tell me if it is somehow fabricated or is it real?

Thanks for bearing with me,

Just a question, where WAS Slotnik et al when we were in Somalia, or carrying on an illegal war against our allies, the Serbs, for our enemies, the moslems...who then went to Afghan and Iraq to take up arms against us? Where were these digging, inciteful writers when Sadamn was murdering hundreds of thousands in Iraq? Where were these virtues of journelism condemming Yasar Arafat when he was murdering innocent Jews, not just soldiers? I think they have a huge adjenda....and it doesn't have anything to do with fair or balanced.

Well Packo, as to where Skolnik was, I?d say most likely he was filling empty heads with equally empty ideas, as usual, and making some bucks from it. His idiotic romp through Central Europe, specifically Romania, was pitiful ignorance and arrogance at best and an overt effort to deceive at worst. Note there were no dates or events for historic events in Romania nor their pending relationship with the EU or NATO or their progress of the last decade and a half nor the brutal suppression of the preceding fifty years the Romanians endured and by exactly whom.

Like the rest of the former Wausau Pact countries, Romania is looking for jobs, economic opportunity, security and freedom from the eastern thugs and bullies that still try to rip off anything and anyone they can. All those tens of thousands of former KGB thugs just didn?t go poof when the Soviet Union imploded, nope, and we saw this scenario play out in the Ukraine last fall. Now the Ukraine is pushing for NATO and EU membership and some way out of the grip of terror they have experienced in the last century.

But Skolnik and his ilk and groupies don?t bother with multiple source objective analysis of anything, they just grab and go, then go ?phttt? and fly around like a crazy party balloon when their allegations are questioned or substantiation is requested.

A better question to ask is where was Oliver North and the CIA when we were supplying armaments to all these "Terrorists" In the first place. We are failing to see the inherent danger of giving weapons to the bad guys and giving them training then turning them loose on the world and saying "Oh my there are terrorists at the door?" If you take the time to read Skolnick and in particular Coca Cola and the CIA you might walk away with some different thoughts.

Ah, no thanks, Skolnik's dissertation on Central Europe is so very, very bad that I wouldn?t be tempted to see what other tricks and treats he has in his sack of blog gas.

No way one thing can be so very levered, incomplete and inaccurate and another work product accurate and revealing. That guy has a well defined target audience he harvists and they give him a license to fly plus the bucks to go with it.
Fine, he can get away with all the blog gas he wants to vent in that venue, but that doesn?t mean he gets a license to fly here without running into a flack pattern and some serious questions about content, sources, viability, honesty, professionalism and intent.
