...went up to our camp in the mountians of Newcomb/ long lake area, about 2700 feet up, with mywife/kids,dog... friend, and wife/kids/, all survived with only one "mishap",...

...Dave "scope-ie", as I've nicknamed him now, we went shooting every thing we had, and I got him a 30/30 with a SCOPE FOR A HUNDRED BUCKS LAST YEAR, AND HE'S NEVER SHOT IT, OR ANY OTHER RIFLE WITH A SCOPE FOR THAT MATTER,(sorry about caps),...

...well most of you probably already guessed,...

...first shot form the 30/30, I hear "OH SHIT", and we all know what that means, I didn't want to look, and laugh, so I turned reaaaallll slow, and kinda made it look like I was busy, but low, and behold, there was the nicest 1/4 moon just above the right eye, and it was running down the bridge of his nose,...

...took the band aid out of my wallet,(good boy scout training), cut a butterfly, and finished shooting, .380, 357, .22. , .308, 12 guage, ,...

...we got pic's so I'll get one out eventually,...

Well...kinda like touchin hot stoves...usually don't take but once.

That should be added to the list of a gun nut. Half-moon scar between the eyebrows caused by a rifle scope.

I've got one of those and I don't even cosider myself a serious gun nut.

Mine caused by a 30-06, I did hit the coyote!

...yep, had the sore shoulder from years back with the "hold the shotgun about an inch off your shoulder when you fire it" , but have never popped myself in the eye,...
