I am not sure about the exact prefix numbers now that I think about it. I had prefix 3,5 and 7 but I don't remember which is for what now. I get paid for this memory lapse.

Maybe I can help you out:
7 was airborne qualified
5 was SF qualified
and I believe the
3 was nuke-weapons qualified.

Now the memory is jogged. Had to become SW qualified in Europe. Our Team was assigned to use individual nuke weapons to blow certain people places and things in Europe in case of war. we then organized whatever was left and became a guerilla fighting force.

How do you guys remember all this stuff from 40 years ago? Hell, Thursday night I could not remember where my house was and had to call the ole lady to come get me from the Irish Pub that I happen to find!

Several of you post about events to the specific Month day and time. I might remember that something happend within a couple of months but that is about as close as it gets. With a few exceptions. BUT I can still remember radio call signs, codes and stuff like that.
Do not remember Map sheet numbers or grids but have a photo image of the terrain, road or landmarks of specific areas. Strange, I can't remember who I ate for lunch yesterday either. ooops, fraudian Slip. Or was it silk or lace. Just don't remember.
