Default Help for any soldier

This is a great bunch of people, helping by providing a lot of ordinary things that make life a little better for those in service. I've worked with them quite awhile now, and they are legit.

They are a wonderful group, Tina...

What I like about them is that they ask for nada, everything goes directly to individuals.

Here are two other sites that the Legion suggests if people want to do other things to help out:

"Combat Wound Relief Fund"

commander@americanlegion137.com
or
www.americanlegion137.com

Major league pitchers have started a fund called "Strikeouts for Troops", aimed at helping the wounded.

www.strikeoutsfortroops.org

Every time they whiff a batter, they contribute $100 to the fund. Participating pitchers include Barry Zito, Tim Hudson, Chad Cordero, Curt Schilling, C.C. Sabathia, Matt Miller and Joe Blanton.
