Nail on the head. Question, question, question. Unfortunately, most people don't or won't. On the flip side Theory and Fact can get confused and on closer inspection one may actually be the other or neither. i.e. Fact: We use depleted uranium munitions. Fact: They are not health inducing any more than cigarettes, hand grenades, and limited thermonuclear warfare, or agent orange. Theory: Our government is using our troops and indigenous people as guinea pigs. Fact: Since Desert Storm the Iraqi pediatric leukemia rate is 50% higher than it was before our intervention. Theory: Based on the information at hand one could hypothesize that at least some of that could be from depleted munitons, since inhaling any of the radioactive dust is potentially carcinogenic. Fact: The Federal Reserve is not a part of the United States Government. Theory: They are part of the Illuminati. Fact: Prescott Bush (George the Navy aviator's Dad) supported the Nazi war movement by using his bank as a money laundering machine. Look I understand what you are saying about ego's and all of that. I don't want to be right (all the time) I would be happy to be shown proof that what I am posting is untrue whether in part or in full. If you dig deep enough you can find dirt on anyone and that is not the issue here. If people at least come away asking questions and looking for answers and sharing what they find, then maybe we've actually accomplished something positive hopefully. Just as an aside that was a really great roll you were on back there!

After my brother passed this last December my priorities changed and I stopped coming to this forum except to read. I juststopped by tosharea little life experience and a different perspective.

Thanks Arrow. Perspective and discussion is vitally important until we can reach agreement on what we perceive to be the truth. (Difficult as that can be.) Sorry to hear about your brother, I hope your heart is feeling less pain and more joy at his release to a better home. I believe he will be in good company. That?s right Sis, it?s is just plain dogwork to completely research a paper and get to bedrock fact. In the spirit of conservation of energy, I?ll first check out the author?s bio and if that doesn?t pass muster, then the heck with going much further for something beyond a SWAG or an interesting opinion.
If the author looks OK, I?ll dive into the bibliography and see if those references pass the litmus test. Usually this is where things crash and burn real bad. Alas, looking good doesn?t necessarily equal being good and all too often eye candy turns out to be syrup covered dog poop or deceptive rug dancing.

Colmurph... I respect your right to your opinion. I am not a Democon nor a Neocon. I posted the article in the hope that some people might see that as a strange paradox and investigate for themselves why something like this might happen. Were you aware that Prescott Bush (GW's grandaddy) allowed the Nazi's to use his bank for laundering and funding their cause from the early thirty's until 1942 when FDR pulled the plug? Just because it happened once doesn't mean it can't happen again. Patriots need to be on guard, because the enemy isn't terrorism it's our Government playing on our fear of terrorism. But don't take my word for it, question, question, question, investigate, investigate, investigate. Find the truth for you. Discuss what you find without name calling and all that other garbage, this is a forum for discussion. I feel blessed to be able to post things that I find and hopefully get some concrete and factual evidence one way or another. We are a band of brothers and sisters that have gone through many experiences in our lives. Collectively we should be able to be happy, sad, angry, or whatever for and with each other. My biggest hope is to elicit fact finding. Reliable, cold, hard facts because opinions are like noses and every body has one. However opinions are not necessarily the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Big things are going on in the world and in our country in plain sight and there are few Patriots calling foul. If an old man sees something that he saw before, give it some thought and try to discover more about why he could think that in the land of the free and the home of the brave. Don't just blurt out an opinion. The truth is often stranger than fiction. All is not well in the land of MURKHA.

Have you bothered to check out the sites for either the Lone Star Iconoclast or the so-called Justice for None to find out who they are? And is their purpose in life to spread truth, decency and the light, or just to broadcast slanderous drivel?

If you don't think that terrorists are the problem or the enemy, you must live in a very strange little world, peopled by scurrying little miscreants in green eyeshades. Did the government fly those planes into the World Trade Center towers, or into the Pentagon, or crash one in a field in Pennsylvania? You got me, I don't always check every website that the information is purported to come from. A lot of times it may have been picked up by another website and they dutifuly make sure that there is a link to it but many times I post items without doing a spot check in the hope that the article will make people think about more than the left or right or whichever demographic you might be. I don't believe people like Alex Jones (infowars.com), Sherman Skolnick (skolnicksreport.com), Jeff Rense(rense.com), are worried about political affiliations but rather on making an honest attempt at trying to find the truth and inform as many people about their or others findings. Me too. It's purpose(the information I post like this German man story) is to get people to think about more than one way or the highway. If I had changed the byline on this article to a mainstream media paper like say The Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, The New York Times, would that have made it more palatable for you? What are you afraid of? Your rants give you away. That is why the people of Germany willingly invaded Poland after the Reichstag fire. FEAR. Fear controls the population. We can start a war by getting everyone in fear of the terrorist threat and then railroad it through before they suspect anything. Plausible? Perhaps. I am a Vietnam veteran that didn't believe in the war but volunteered for the Army and the medical corps and jump school so I could do something for the guys in the meat grinder. I did what I thought was the right and honorable thing to do. I know that's not impressive, but I'm too old to go to the Serbias and Afghanistans and Iraqs of today. The world is much smaller and we have more information available and it isn't always the right versus the left and if anything I say or article I post can get people to think outside the fear box we have been conditioned to react to then maybe I've done something right as long as I remain honest with all of you about sources and opinions, etc. As far as a plane crashing into the Pentagon, I never saw any pictures of aircraft wreckage in pictures taken within the first hour. I find it being said that the purported type of aircraft that crashed couldn't have made a hole that small. Photos from a security camera looking toward toward the Pentagon show a flash of light on the right side of the screen going to the left side and the explosion. Now does this prove anything? Not really because film can be doctored, disinformation can be released, and any of a number of things can be done. You have to ask yourself though and understand the ramifications of this, is it possible that our own Government would willingly pull a Reichstag fire in order to justify or enhance their ability to go to war in Iraq? Is it even remotely possible? If you can't even consider the possibility and start looking to see where the fiction stops and the truth begins then I'm sorry because they've GOTCHA. Right where they want you. Do you realize that because of the Patriot Acts I and II anyone that speaks against the Government gives the Government cause to come and snatch them without explanation? What happened to free speech? Same thing happened in Nazi Germany. If you want to piss in the wind and moan that you're wet and blame me for leaning left or right so I can stay dry, go for it! Just remember that if you can't disprove me, then there just might be a possibility of a different truth than what you or even I thought.
