Default A Letter From Stan's Friend

Since it's so close to Veteran's Day, on tv there are a ton of great movies on. My step-dad, mom, and I watched We Were Soldiers Once. And my mom and I were talking about some stuff and she told me that about six years ago a guy who was serving with Stan sent her a letter and some pictures and we looked through her stuff and we found it. It was amazing. Now we are trying to locate the other men he mentioned. I am very excited!!

Default Keep Us Informed.

If you post the names and units here on the Patriotfiles, there is a slight chance that you may find someone that knows them.

Default Stan's friend

Here's some names that he said hung out with himself and Stan. Tom Sweeney, Craig Bruno, Mike Feeney, and Bill Lindeman. They were assigned to E Company, Recon Platoon, 1st Brigade, 11th Infantry Regiment, 5th Mechanized Infantry Division. To be honest I'm not really sure what all that means but. I know they went through LRRP school together. The man that wrote the letter's name is Jack Rupple. He talked about how Stan died, and he sent a lot of pictures, he is a very sweet man.
