This was a good, good man, I was proud to know.
he and I had a political bet (whether Tom Delay will get convicted for money laundering) the winner would donate it to patriotfiles. I'm still going honor that with an donation to pfiles, win or lose, in his name.

Andy is in heaven now with the Lord, all the saints, and his fellow brother and sisters from the armed forcces, and the law enforcement community before him. I know he was welcomed and met by the them when he arrived in heaven.

At the Service Jay, the youngest son, gave the eulogy and TJ the oldest gave (according to Jay) the rebuttal. Jay remarked that their dad was so smart because of being related to Thomas Edison. Andy's Father was Eddie so Andy was known as Tom, Eddies son. Jay was almost grown before he figured it out

One of the police officers noted that Andy once asked several questions of general knowledge and was appalled that no one could answer any of the questions. Since they worked the graveyard shift, Andy informed the young police officers that they HAD to be back in the station house at 4am. Upon their prompt arrival Andy made them play trivial pursuit from 4am until 6am until he was satisfied they had acquired at least some general knowledge.
