Warriors feather

A few months back someone said they seen a vietnam vet with a feather . Well today I was honored by a fellow i work with who is a senneca Indian from new york, with a warriors vietnam feather and a warriors medicine bag / with a sprit hoop . Its very nice and I'm still trying to have him explain all the different things on it after i get my new camera running i post a pitcher. The Indian culture is really amazing once you brake thru the steriotypes and try to under stand where they are coming from. I feel very proud that he thinks enough of me to have his elders make the special warriors Stuff for me. I now feel 12 feet tall again. Thanks John and I'll try to get John to join our brawdy group.

Centuries of living in 'sync' with nature give you the real perspective of what life is all about. It's a shame we all can't be in 'sync'. The planet would be a better place for it.

being in an area where you are able to make Native American friends. I would like to spend time a good deal of time out west and study their culture hands-on. We were able to visit several reservations when we took a 3 week vacation in 1989 in Arizona and New Mexico. I also enjoyed the recent Robert Redford programs on PBS..
