Anything else, is not America.

?Mornin? folks! How the hell are ya this mornin?, anyways? Coffee?s on, and it ain?t too awful bad, neither. Well? Get yerself a cup and sit a spell! What?s wrong with ya, anyways? I know yer not awake yet! Quit yer whinin?. If you ain?t wearin? dirty diapers, ya got nuthin? to whine about. (If?n ya are, holler fer the Nurse?s Assistant. That?s what they?re there for.) Paper?ll be along directly, I reckon. Woody wants them word puzzles. No, the funny page?s already got my name on ?em! You can have at the rest.

So, what?re we a visitin? over this mornin?? Now, dangit, I was askin? you. ?I gotta do alla the hard thinkin? around here, don?t I? If?n ya see some tall feller wanderin? around with a cane, and glazed look in his eyes, that?s me?doin? alla yer thinkin? for ya? ?idjit kids, anyways?

I got to laughin? at one lady yesterday. She was talkin? all about how Dick Cheney is really an alien from another world?in disguise. Well, that wasn?t so bad, me laughin? at her??til I found out that she was bein? serious. She works fer a big newspaper outfit back east. That?ll give a feller somethin? to think about, that will.

I had a couple of folks tell me what they thought of our visitin? around here yesterday. I like the way the one lady put it, about that ?Gentle Jesus? stuff? She was short, to the point, and Biblically accurate. ?If someone slaps ya over Jesus, turn the other cheek. If they slap ya over anything else, deck ?em.? I kinda like that. Keepin? things simple, that is. Well, you know that simple works fer me! Another feller said it real good, too. ??anyone who says that you are to lie down like a cur dog to be kicked is an ignoramus.? Now, keep in mind, bein? ignorant is all about not knowin? no better. Bein? an ignoramus?yeah, I spelled that right? Bein? an ignoramus is bein? ignorant on purpose. That means that yer makin? a regular habit out of bein? ignorant. I had a couple of folks disagree with me over that ?Gentle Jesus? stuff, too. I hadda read ?em from the Book. They ain?t got back to me yet?

Oh, that one feller that I was talkin? about who was goin? on about that stuff? I tried to warn him. He wanted me to provide ?proof.? Some of ya are laughin?. You know what I done to him. Well, it weren?t as bad as I done to you! I only emailed him thirty or forty links, and a few excerpts from stuff, to prove my point.

Ya see, some folks get to checkin? up on me with what I say around here. I don?t mind that a bit. (That?s why I posted alla that stuff on my website.) Even if?n yer just out to prove me wrong, yer a gonna learn somethin? outta the deal. That works, too. I don?t expect anyone to agree with me, but I do expect ?em to think some, and to be intellectually honest. Ain?t no worse lie than the lie ya tell yerself, ya see? Lotta folks call other fellers liars, and the only one?ll be lyin? inna situation is themselves?and generally, they?ll be a lyin? to themselves a lot more?n they?ll be a lyin? to anyone else.

Ya almost gotta feel sorry fer folks like that, but ya sure don?t haveta stand there and let ?em lie about stuff. You don?t haveta let ?em call you a liar just ?cause yer right and they?re wrong, fer that matter. If ya got the facts on yer side, and yer a tellin? the truth, ya ain?t gotta worry about gettin? whipped inna argument. If?n they don?t listen when yer bein? gentle-like, why then ya just gotta be bold with ?em. Ya don?t haveta yell and scream to be bold, ya know that, don?t ya? Ok. Just checkin?? If they got a sense of humor, you can even laugh at ?em over it, and then show ?em how foolish they?re a lookin?. Some folks just like dancin? inna dark, no matter what ya show ?em that?s different than they think it is. That?s alright, too, unless their dancin? inna dark is a gonna get ya all messed up with things.

Other thing about what I was talkin? about yesterday, the whole topic seems to be a bit of trend among some of ya. There?s a lot of folks talkin? about how Jesus ain?t a weaklin?, and how the church has done screwed up the way it teaches the gospel. Now, some of you denominational types figgers some of us is all about causin? a fight or hurtin? folks. It ain?t that at all. We just read the Book fer ourselves and we saw somethin? that you just mighta missed, is all. Jesus wasn?t anybody?s doormat. Paul weren?t either. Peter and none of the rest let anyone just walk all over ?em.

Shoot. The way ya preach Ananias and Sapphira, you completely overlooked that part of the deal. You teach it as bein? that?s what?ll happen to folks who don?t give ya their money. They was lyin? to God. That?s why they dropped dead, ya stoop. It wasn?t about the money. ?Then ya wonder why yer church is ?dead.? Yer a lyin? alla time, that?s why. In today?s churches, you figger that when folks like that lie to ya, it?s alright, ?Because Jesus loves them.? I seem to remember a part of the Book about liars a goin? to hell, myself, but I hear that some of you folks is usin? another Book, so that might explain it some. Some of them new translations are all about bein? politically correct, now. Seems they talk about ?persons? instead of men, and they talk about ?Jewish leaders? instead of the Jews. They talk about ?She? instead of God. Shoot, next thing ya know, Ol? Injun Joe in ?Tom Sawyer? is a gonna be called ?Native American Joe,? and instead of bein? a cold-blooded killer, he?ll be ?a member of an oppressed minority who was only lashing out.? Ya done started on the Bible, and American history isn?t bein? taught in schools anymore. If ya ain?t stoppin? with re-writin? the Bible, and ya ain?t a gonna teach the facts in yer schools, ya ain?t a gonna stop with re-writin? anything else, neither. Burnin? books won?t be necessary if?n ya keep it up. Think about it some. You?ll get there.

That Book, called The Bible, is some good literature, folks, but it?s more accurate than any history that was ever written by the hand of man alone. You study it up, and you?ll see that I?m right. That old Book is the foundation upon which this nation was founded. Without it, you don?t have America. And all of our enemies have known that fact since our very beginnin?s. Once they?ve taken that away from us, and destroyed it?s credibility amongst your unbelief, they don?t have to bomb us or invade us. The nation will fall down around our ears. As it is, our enemies have invaded us, and you?re all about how ?a loving Jesus wouldn?t allow such a thing to happen to America,? and you say among yourselves, ?those poor people need Jesus, too.? ?and in the meanwhile, you do nothing but offer up false praise, false offerings, and false worship, and you teach every one his brother false teachin?s, solely for gainin? the praise of your fellows, and the money that?s in their pockets.

?And some of ya work fer big-time outfits, and go to church, and tell each other things like, ?Dick Cheney is really an alien in disguise?? If you?ll believe a lie like that, you?ll believe anything?except for the truth. ?and you sit and wonder why the nation has lost it?s way. What too many of ya don?t know, is that American Patriotism and the Bible are inextricably intertwined. Anything else, is not America. As well, without the Bible, as it is written, you are no Christian.

Warm up yer coffee folks. It?s a new day. We?ve got another chance to get ?e right. We?ve got another opportunity to get ?er all sorted out. Make sure ya take advantage of it.

No. I haven?t been ?preaching.? You don?t want to hear me preach. You can?t handle what I?m sayin? now.

?Mornin? folks! How the hell are ya anyways? Coffee?s on, and is it good this mornin?, too. Well, what?re ya waitin? fer? An engraved invitation? Grab a cup and get yerself some! Ain?t no sense a goin? through the day half asleep, is there? Paper?ll be along directly, I?d imagine. I gots first dibs onna funny pages, too! ?I don?t know why I haveta keep tellin? ya that?ya must be a buncha idjits or somethin??

Well, I done reckon? Ya know, you people got so much a goin? on that it?s plumb hard to keep up with, ya know that? Chem-trails, HAARP, microwave arrays in Norway, Russian satellite solar mirrors?and then there?s them pesky tribesmen blowin? up oil and gas pipelines all over Southwest Asia. They?re doin? it in China, too, fer that matter. I bet you thought they only blew ?em up in Iraq, didn?t ya? Ignorance is Blix, I reckon. Well, if?n you got alla money from Iraq that he did, you?d be kinda happy at bein? ignorant, too, I?d reckon. If?n you was a little kid, that is.

Now?that?s just the way most of them folks always done business, though. It was always about what ya get outta the deal fer yerself along the way, while you was a doin? yer job as a politician. Here inna U.S. we got pretty much away from that, so some of you dipsticks inna U.S. think that corruption in governments is an aberration. No. It?s the other way ?round! Honesty in politicians is always the rare dog in that hunt. Most places in this world, nobody knows how to deal with an honest politician. Onna other hand, an honest politician don?t know how to deal with the one?s that?re corrupt. Makes things interestin? when the two types get together, too. You don?t know nuthin? about history, do ya?

Oh, back to the other. Ya can?t ferget about them pesky aliens, either. Or yer own narcissistic nihilism. Well, Jezebel, I could put that to ya in Biblical terms, I reckon. ?Looks like I just did, don?t it? Don?t ferget the Queen of Heaven, now! She?s been appearin? all over the world fer quite awhile now. She?s appearin? as an angel of light, ya know that, don?t ya? She?s doin? more miracles than Benny Hinn, too! Hang on to yer hat, Benny. God?s a gonna be dealin? with you pretty quick. I don?t reckon that it?ll be real pretty, either. You folks a doin? like Benny and that there Prophetic Movement best be a payin? attention. Give it a few weeks, and remember that I told ya about it. The difference ?tween the Queen of Heaven and ol? Benny Hinn? The miracles she?s a doin? are real?and she ain?t a askin? ya fer yer money. Fer you folks that ain?t been payin? no attention, there ain?t but one way to salvation, and she ain?t it. There?s millions of folks, includin? the Pope, that say that she is?but it ain?t inna Book like that.

Well, I gone after Communists, Socialists, Protestants and Muslims! It was just the Catholic?s turn, is all. Seems they never did like their folks a readin? the Book fer themselves. They couldn?t stop it, so anymore they just teach that the Book ain?t true. Most of you folks?re so falsely Christian that ya wouldn?t know the difference between the real God and the real Christ and real miracles, and false prophets and false miracles and false angels sent by the devil. Shoot. Ain?t no wonder ya don?t understand the Constitution.

The Constitution tells ya the truth. The government?s accountable to you, and yer responsible fer yer own lives and well bein?, and that yer accountable to God for all of it. You?d rather believe the lie that the government?s supposed to take care of ya, and that yer accountable to the government. You?ve replaced the One True God?with the government. I hear they call that communism. That?s all about enough to make a feller plumb proud of ya, that is. Ya got preachers gettin? shot in their own churches all over the nation. Ya got judges gettin? shot in their own courthouses and homes. Ya see, ya got preacher?s a preachin? one thing and doin? another. Ya got judges and the government a sayin? one thing and doin? another. Ya got Feds and cops a sayin? one thing and doin? another. Some folks get right frustrated over alla that.

Now, politics aside, it seems that in China they got about half the folks in prison that we do. A good many of ?em is there fer purely political reasons. They also got four times as many people as we do, and we got eight times as many folks in prison as they do. They?re a Communist nation, and full of folks that don?t believe the Bible. Here inna U.S., you folks claim that around eighty per cent of ya is Christian. That?s a pretty good witness to the world, that is. Yes indeed. Ya see, the Communists say one thing and they stick to it. It ain?t near as frustratin?. Feller knows just what he?s a dealin? with that way, ya see, like it or not. That?s why so many folks in America is convinced that Communism is a good thing. You folks is all a doin? one thing and sayin? another. Them folks here inna U.S. that like Communists seem to ferget that Communists kill anyone who don?t agree with ?em. There ain?t much chance to get into a courthouse to kill the judge that way, ya see; and Christian Churches are kinda frowned on. The Communists don?t give a frustrated feller the chance to kill preachers. They?ll kill ?em for ya, ?fore you get the chance.

That other stuff about HAARP, Russian satellites, tribesmen, and Norway?(?I think it?s Norway?one of them countries up there, anyways?)That?s all stuff that?s true, and bein? worked on. Ya don?t haveta look on no conspiracy theory website to find out about it, neither. Them Chem-trails I ain?t real sure of. I ain?t seen no real proof as yet. My point with alla this? Well, you wasn?t payin? attention was ya? Point is. You don?t want to face reality. You?d rather be little kids a playin? little kids? games?and throwin? fits about why the other little kids don?t want to play by the rules that you make up as ya go along. Rules ya made to benefit yerself without concern about anyone else, or what they want, or what they need, or what they desire. In fact, anyone who has needs, wants, desires, and concerns that aren?t the same as yers, you decide that they?re crazy, and ya make laws to ensure that they?re diagnosed that way. Pay real close attention to that one, folks. Its already a law. ?And that doesn?t mention what you?ve already done to your kids. Any one of ?em that doesn?t sit down and shut up is diagnosed with ADD. Yer just next, is all.

What? Why I figger most all of ya is crazy, myself. Otherwise the world wouldn?t be inna shape it?s in. That craziness y?all?re plagued with? It?s called sin. Sin means that yer separated from all that?s compassionate, honest, good, true, and just, and merciful. In fact, most of ya don?t have any idea of what any of those words truly mean. Ya see, for you, if the other man?s definitions don?t match yer own, you think that he?s crazy, and you?ll run him out of church, and throw him in prison, or put him and his children on mind alterin? drugs. Then you sit at home and ?tsk-tsk? over why would someone do such a thing as to shoot a preacher, a cop, a politician, ?or a judge. I?ll give ya a clue. It wasn?t just one incident that would cause a man to so such a thing. It would take a lifetime of such incidents, happening to him every day. One man can only handle one ?Catch-22? at a time. And you just pour them on him, one after another, day after day after day?and then you can?t understand why a normally kind and peaceful man, suddenly, for no reason at all? ?snapped.? You did it to him. Look inna Book under injustice and unjust measures. You?ll get there.

And y?all get together to buy yerselves a politician with yer PAC?s and such, and then ya tsk-tsk over corruption in government. What ya do get mad about is when the other feller bought the same politician that you was tryin? to buy. Preachers? Why, if?n they?re licensed by the government, I don?t reckon there?s any real preachers among ya myself. They?re just another government politician is all they are?out to frustrate ya.

Warm up yer coffee, folks. It?s a new day. We?ve got another chance to get it right. We?ve got another opportunity to get it all sorted out. Make sure ya take advantage of it.

They won?t save ya.

?Mornin? folks! How the hell are ya this mornin?, anyways? Coffee?s on and it?s pretty danged good, too. Ya best grab a cup and get yerself some! Ya gotta get yer eyes open fore ya face the day, don?t ya know. Paper?ll be along directly, I?d imagine. You keep yer grubby little paws offa them funny pages. I gots first dibs on ?em, I told ya! ?Friggin? kids?

Well, I reckon. Did y?all figger out what I was talkin? about yesterday? Well, that?s what aspirin?s for, ya dope. I told ya, ya get those headaches from screwin? up yer face like that when yer a thinkin?, but does anyone listen to me? Noooo. You gotta go out and learn things the hard way! Idjit kids, anyways? It was about you and yer own hard-hearted hypocrisy is what it was about. Little kids can be hard-hearted, too, ya know. Well, you lookit a buncha little kids onna playground, and then look around ya at the so-called grown-ups yer a runnin? with. You?ll see what I mean. Find yer inner child my dyin??foot. It?s one thing to learn to enjoy things and take some pleasure in ?em. It?s quite another thing to start actin? like spoilt little brats alla time. ?But?but?but?? That?s self-justification. That?s little kid thinkin?. ??Sounds like a little kid playin? motor-boat, come to that?

Let?s see? I see where a couple of ya are doin? some research into that end-times stuff. Well, good on ya, then. Just remember. Compare what other folks is sayin? to the Book. Don?t compare the Book to what they?re a sayin?. It?s called logic. Well, get some! ?See, you folks take what the preacher, or the bishop and the Pope and such says, as bein? true, no matter what. Then ya get to lookin? at the Bible, and when it doesn?t match what the preacher says, ya go by what the preacher tells ya. You go as far as to say that the Bible didn?t mean what it said it did, too! You?ll say, ??Sides, it was a different time back then!? That?s kinda backwards, alright. Just thought ya oughta know.

Ya see, they ain?t no place inna Bible where it says that the preacher or the Pope, or anyone else like that, is the one true voice of God. The only folks that speak directly fer God like that is called Prophets, and they ain?t too many real Prophets a runnin? around in any generation. They won?t be wearin? them fancy hats and fancy robes, either? Matter of fact, a true Prophet might be smellin? of stale sweat and body odor, and wearin? clothes you wouldn?t be caught dead in. ?Rasslin? with God alla time will do that to a feller oncet in awhile. When a true Prophet shows up, it?s usually ?cause folks is doin? it wrong. He?ll generally be a tellin? ya things that ya don?t wanta hear, too. Then ya got alla other kinda prophets a tellin? all about how good everything is, or how good it?s a gonna be. They?ll be a tellin? ya what ya wanta hear, when ya want hear it, the way ya wanta hear it. Sounds about like a politician these days, don?t it? ?or a preacher?

Just fer you folks that don?t read yer Bible much, Jesus is the only one a inteceedin? between you and God, and He?s a standin? there to keep the Glory of God from destroyin? ya. That?s what his sacrifice was about, ya see. They ain?t nobody else ya gotta depend on, not a preacher, not a politician, not a Pope, not a priest. They can?t save ya. When they come between you and Jesus, or between you and God, and put themselves in Their place, you ain?t free no more. When the preacher and the Pope and the politician decides what is best for ya, you ain?t free no more, and you?ve discounted the sacrifice that was made for ya.

It?s kinda like you folks do with the Constitution. A politician, a lawyer or judge says somethin?, you go by what the politician, the lawyer or a judge says, instead of by what the Constitution really says about a matter. You?ll go so far as to figger them folks that wrote the Constitution didn?t really mean what they said about matters. You?ll say, ??Sides, this is a different time than it was back then!? That Constitution is what is supposed to keep the government from destroyin? ya.

When the government starts in with the personal destruction of the people it is supposed to protect, God ain?t in it, and freedom isn?t either. Politicians, lawyers, and judges? They won?t save yer freedom. When the government puts itself in the place of God and in the place of freedom, and decides what is best for ya, you ain?t free no more, and you?ve discounted the sacrifices that were made for ya. Those folks that you call The Fathers and The Founders of our country? They sacrificed themselves that you might not be destroyed by a government?s claims to glory. They sacrificed themselves that nothing, includin? man or government, would come between you and your God. They sacrificed themselves that nothin? might come between you?and freedom. He died to set you free, and so did they.

Warm up yer coffee, folks! It?s a new day! Get yer head wrapped around it ?fore ya head out. It?s a new opportunity to get ?er right. We?ve got another chance to get it all sorted out. Make sure ya take advantage of it.

What?s really behind it? Oh, that.

?Mornin? folks! How the hell are ya this mornin?? Coffee?s on, and it ain?t too bad neither. Ya best get yerself a cup and get some. Well, a feller?s gotta have his eyes open ?fore he heads out the door, ya know. Paper?ll be along directly, I reckon. I gots first dibs onna funny pages, too!

Some of you folks plumb tickle me, ya know that don?t ya? I ain?t quite got a handle on what?s really behind it, but here?s what happens when I get to visitin? around here. I get to talkin? about how folks don?t think none, or I compare this bunch or that bunch to little kids, ya know. Actually, yer all like a buncha little kids! ?Can?t think fer nuthin? sometimes. Fer example, I?ll use an example to help make my point fer the day?and you?ll go and think that what I was talkin? about was all about the example. Then ya get mad at me ?cause I don?t think the way you do about things. That tells me that you don?t believe in freedom fer one thing. Fer another thing, it also tells me that you ain?t free yerselves. You don?t want folks to disagree with ya. You want ?em to sit down and shut-up. Yer afraid that they might be right ?and that you might be wrong. That?s pride, ya see.

?Feller got kinda upset with me fer tellin? him that changin? one word inna salute to the flag wasn?t the biggest priority we gots as a nation. Before that, he kinda figgered I was on his side, don?t ya know. Well, I am. Just not the same way he thinks I am, is all. (It wasn?t the word, ?God?.) Right at the moment, it?s just somethin? else to divide us over. It took me a bit of talkin? to explain it to him. I wasn?t agin? him or his buddies. I was again their thinkin?. They don?t know how to set priorities fer some reason. Seems like they?re all self-involved and a arguin? over a hundred and forty year old fight. Well, ya oughta be well aware of things a hundred and forty years ago, as it did change things quite a bit here inna U.S. Some of ?em wasn?t good changes, neither. Regardin? alla that, that was then. This is now that we gotta deal with. Let?s deal with first things first, and then we can make that ol? pledge match the Constitution later on.

Here lately, other folks done got all upset over me a tellin? onna Catholics. (You wasn?t the only one, ok. Don?t get the big head on me.) First of all, from the way they said what they said, it was alright to go after them pesky Protestants, but it wasn?t alright to tell onna Catholics. Seems like they argue like them liberals do, too. They been more honest about it, though. ?Ceptin? fer lyin? to themselves, that is? just like them pesky Protestants do? ?See, them Catholics don?t figger that they call the virgin Mary co-redeemer and co-mediator with Christ. Myself, I kinda thought that?s what the words Co-Redemptrix and Mediatrix meant, ?specially when ya lookit the rest of their teachin?s onna matter.

The only change inna word from the dictionary is that word endin?,
?-trix.? That just means it?s a woman a bein? talked about is all that means. What they teach is that ya can?t get to heaven without puttin? Mary right up there with Christ. They teach that ya gotta go through Mary to get to God?fer yer salvation. Others among ?em just teach that Mary is another way to get to God in addition to Jesus Christ. Then some of ?em pray to Mary, kinda like you Protestant folks do by prayin? to Jesus. Jesus ain?t the one to pray to, ya see. Mary, nor nobody else, is the one ya pray to either. Yer supposed to pray to God, askin? in Jesus? name.

Now, what they all done missed is that I wasn?t trashin? their faith ?so much as I was tryin? to get ?em to think fer themselves. I?m a callin? ?em to faith, ya see. Other thing that?s kinda fooled some folks, is that they think just ?cause I talk like this that I don?t know nuthin?, so they?re bigoted and prejudiced as well. They get some surprised and confused when I respond to ?em usin? fancy words and phrases, and show ?em that I know a few things about alla that kinda stuff.

Fer example, the one lady didn?t like it when I showed her that what the Catholic church was doin? was just like them old pagan rituals that worshipped The Queen of Heaven. Some of them Protestant churches is a doin? the same thing, now. Don?t matter if?n ya call her Isis, Diana, or Mary the Mother of God. It ain?t inna Book like that. She ain?t the One to worship. Then there?s that whole bit about Nimrod. You gotta really pay attention to keep up onna history of alla that. Means ya gotta know somethin? about ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, Ancient Egypt, Ancient Sumaria, and all sorts of stuff like that. Did God stop talkin? through Prophets and such after the Bible was put together? Nope. I don?t figger He did. But folks sure ?nuff stopped listenin? somewhere along the way.

Shoot?even inna Apocrypha, it don?t teach Mary as bein? The Queen of Heaven. Just like with them pesky Protestants, error has gotten in among ya, Mr. Universalist Church? and you?d rather believe the error than ya would the truth. It don?t take any kinda brains at all to lookit them old pagan religions, and then lookit the church and see the same thing a goin? on. All it takes is a man who can, and will, think for himself. Ya see, what I been after with some of this religion stuff is to get one thing through to all y?all. The Catholics and the Protestants is always a talkin? mean about one another?and they all of ?em, every last one, got it wrong. Yer a gonna divide yerselves between yerselves, and then turn right around and wonder why ya can?t get no one to listen to any of ya. Yer askin? folks to stop thinkin? ya see, and inna Book, it said just exactly the opposite if that. He said, ?Only believe.? He didn?t say to stop thinkin? fer yerselves.

Kinda like them folks with that salute to the flag. They?re a arguin? over the meanin?s of words, too. And all it?s done is divide ?em from themselves and between themselves? And yer all a worshippin? somethin? that was never true to begin with.

Inna meantime, we?ve got the Chinese a buildin? up a modern, high-tech army, the likes of which has never been seen before in history. (An army that equals the population of the United States?) Euro-Asia is poised on the edge of a thermo-nuclear war. We?ve got folks in government, and in banks, tryin? to take away more and more of our freedoms every day. We?ve got Republicans and Democrats who?re runnin? the country into the ground. We?ve got third party candidates who just want to replace the rest of ?em with themselves?so that they can get their own faces inna feed trough. We?ve got left wing extremists who?re tellin? each and every one of ya lies, and yer a believin? most of ?em. We?ve got MS-13, and illegal aliens, a takin? over this nation. There?s every nation inna world gots Muslims a tryin? to take over their country, either peacefully or with violence. ?And yer arguin? over bein? divisible or indivisible?or whether Redeemer really means Redeemer. And yer all a worshippin? stuff that has nuthin? to do with God. The church, Catholic and Protestant, is in Apostasy. The nation, Civil War or not, is divided, and in Apostasy, as well.

Ya see?what?s a goin? onna inna world is a goin? on inna church, and what?s goin? on inna church is what?s goin? on inna world. Where?s the salt, people? Somethin? around here is dead and stinkin?, and it ain?t just one of ya, and it ain?t just the other feller, it?s you.

As fer Catholics and Protestants and Patriots? I am on yer side. Just not the way ya think I Am is all. (That was a prophetic statement. Get a clue, will ya?) I?m all growed up ya see. You?ain?t. I can think fer myself some, no matter what the next feller tells me. You believe anything anyone says?just like a little kid. I even heard some of ya say, ?Why aren?t we there yet??

What?s really behind it? Oh, that!? Well?yer livin? in fear. Scaredy-cat, scaredy-cat! Na-na-na-nyah-na! Can?t think, scared to blink. Yer dirty little diaper stinks!

?friggin? kids, anyways?

Warm up yer coffee, folks. It?s a new day. We?ve got another chance to get it right. We?ve got another opportunity to get it all sorted out. Make sure ya take advantage of it, will ya?

...and no. I ain't gonna burp ya, neither...

Flavor of the day.

You folks is about enough to set a good man to cussin?, ya know that?

?Mornin? folks! How the hell are ya this mornin?, anyways? Coffee?s on, and it is good this mornin?, too! Grab a cup and get yerself some, why don?t ya? Paper?ll be along after a bit, I reckon. I gots first dibs onna funny pages, too!

Well, I been a thinkin??Scary, huh? Well, it?s been kinda on my mind fer a little bit now, about how all y?all?re actin? like little kids in everything ya do and say. I mean everything, too! Worse?n that, y?all?re actin? like spoilt little brats! Lemme tell ya what I been a thinkin?.

Flavor of the day. There. That?s says all that needs sayin?, don?t it? Well, I reckon. I ain?t got any more to visit over, so? What now, fer cryin? out loud? Explain myself? Why? Can?t you think fer yerself any? Oh. Alright!

Terri Shiavo. I got a question fer all of ya. Where were ya when she needed ya fifteen years ago? She?s been inna news off and on the whole time, too. Hypocrites. She?s just the flavor of the day for ya. Yeah, yeah, yeah, savin? her life is a good thing. It?s selfish, though. Ya know that by savin? her life now, ya just might be savin? yer own life later on. Yer bein? selfish. I ain?t that stupid, and a thinkin? man can see right through ya. Mostly, though?she?s just the flavor of the day, and too many of ya are milkin? it fer yer own doin?s. You want the attention, you wanta tell all about how you were a big part of savin? her life, blah, blah, blah. A lot of ya are makin? good money on all of it, too. The only good thing about it? Mebbe she?ll get some therapy?so that mebbe we can find out what she thinks about the whole deal, but?by that time, you?ll have a new flavor of the day to get all excited about. ?And if she doesn?t say what ya wanta hear, the way ya want her to say it, you?ll ignore her anyways.

What do I mean? You people have the attention span of a gnat is what I mean. ?if gnats have attention spans? Let?s see, here? Jim Jones. Randy Weaver. Ruby Ridge. Waco. The Bakkers. Jimmy Swaggart. The Montana Freemen. Robert Tilton. McVeigh. The next missin? pretty little girl or beautiful young woman. (Y?all don?t seem much interested in the ones gone missin? who?re ugly or from the projects. Amber alerts don?t seem to cover them folks.) Gun Control. ?Some of ya done made a career outta that one. Neither side wants things to change?or else they woulda changed by now. (Folks is makin? money offa all of it, includin? the activists from both sides. Yes, it is that simple.) Same thing with the environment. Same thing with a whole buncha other things just like that. On both sides of all of those issues, they got fancy offices (read: expensive offices), folks to bring ?em their coffee and croissants, and six figger salaries. You ain?t shittin? me as much as ya think ya are. I would give ya an example, but you?d think I was only talkin? about them. Fer example?no?I best not. You?ll think I was talkin? about the example again?kinda like ya did with that Queen of Heaven stuff?

Lately, there?s Michael Jackson. Kobe Bryant. Scott Peterson. Innocent folks on death row. WMD?s or no WMD?s. Bush is evil and Saddam is good. Hilary is evil and Rice is good. Little Kim. Usher. Rappers killin? one another. Conspiracy theories?(Take yer pick of ?em. There?s one to fit what you think about things.) Then there?s steroids from before Ben Johnson, to folks like Mark McGuire today. There?s corrupt judges and politicians, preachers and school teachers. All of that and more; much, much more. And they?re all just flavors of the day to ya. And then there?re those folks who like to watch Mary Poppins, Cinderella, The Wiggles, the latest computer graphic fish movie, and send each other sickly sweet poetry and little kid feel good stuff. There?s judges with penis pumps. Benny Hinn and Robert Tilton and other folks a gettin? rich offa social security grandmas and poor people. And the House Speaker made someone mad again, so they?re a gonna bust his chops fer doin? what everyone else has been doin? fer years. (It doesn?t matter what year it is, or if it?s a Democrat or a Republican.)

(?and what?s the deal with Paris Hilton? She ain?t real pretty, she ain?t real smart, and she ain?t very talented. She?s just rich by proxy.)

Flavors of the day. That?s all they are to ya. The thing is, if you can?t use the situation to make some money, make some hay, or use it to promote yourself, your book, your magazine, your newspaper, yer business, yer blog or yer website, or your favorite cause celebre?you don?t care.

How many other people out there are like Terri Shiavo? You don?t talk about them. How many other little girls and young women go missin?? You don?t talk about them. How many other child molesters are out there? How many rapists and accused rapists are out there? How many other judges and politicians are doin? things that are, at the least, questionable in their ethical implications, let alone revealin? of the individual?s total lack of trustworthiness? (Would you buy a used car from this man?) It just goes on and on and on with you, ya know. Little kid thinkin?. How many other preachers are out there lyin? to ya and stealin? from ya? How many other people have been threatened, killed, or imprisoned by the state who were only excersin? their Constitutional rights?

Flavor of the day. And if you don?t get yer ice cream and cake when you want it, the way that you want it, you scream holy bloody murder, and you want someone to make up a law against whatever it is that kept you from gettin? it just the way that you wanted it. ?Or you want to sue somebody?just fer the money?because you can?t stay away from MacDonald?s?or the bar?or the sex shop?or the cigarettes, or whoever it is that?s listed on the flavor of the day to sue. Then, after ya done alla that law makin? and suin? folks, you scream and yell and holler??cause yer taxes, yer insurance, yer medical, yer heat, yer electrical, yer gas, and everything else, costs so much. Then ya holler ?cause you ain?t free no more, and on top of that, yer broke. It must be the government?s fault, huh?. Ya see, fer you folks that can?t count real good, the more ya sue folks, and the more laws ya make up, the more things cost ya, and the more taxes the government takes outta yer paychecks. ?and you still can?t figger it out?after someone like me explains it all to ya.

Ya see?what?s right or wrong, true or false, factual or false, honest or dishonest, honorable or dishonorable, ethical or unethical, moral or immoral, is not a part of your thinkin? at all. Of honor, courage, and commitment, you have none at all.

Before you apply such standards to others, apply them to yerselves first of all. If you measure up, forget about the flavor of the day, and do what you know to be right and just and true.

That?s why I do what I do, day after day after day. Otherwise, accordin? to the values that you publicly demonstrate over the current flavor of the day, most of you?aren?t worth my time. But you see, I know what is right and just and true, so I must make an attempt to get through to that spoilt little kid that I see actin? out every day. That little kid that is America, and that is the church. So for the next time that someone asks me why I do this every day. That is your answer.

I could be just like you, ya know; and use the current flavor of the day to spend alla my time promotin? my next book, my website, myself, my cause celebre; or like you, I could be suin? the folks that?re the current flavor of the day to sue, and sue ?em over everything. But I?d feel slimy if I any of that did. Wouldn?t be a shower hot enough, or soap that?s strong enough?to get a feller clean.

By the way. You are the government, ya dipstick. And you are the church. So the next time you go to hollerin? about any of it, go to the bathroom, look inna mirror, and holler at yerself.

It?s time to grow up America. The way things are at present in this world, you may not get too many more chances.

Warm up yer coffee, folks. It's a new day! We've got another chance to get 'er right. We've got another opportunity to get 'er all sorted out. Make sure ya take advantage of it.

The people perish without knowledge, and you don?t want any.

?Mornin? folks! How the hell are ya this mornin?, anyways? Coffee?s on and is it ever good, too! Grab yerself a cup and get ya some, will ya? Feller?s gotta have his eyes wide open if?n he wants ta visit with me, ya know. Paper?ll be along after a bit, I reckon. I gots first dibs onna funny pages!

Yeah, I know I?m late! I slept in ?til midnight this mornin?! ?Must be gettin? old? So, who d?ya suppose I?m a goin? after this mornin?? Well, shoot, I don?t know! I was askin? you! I could go after you some, I guess. What? Well, after the last couple of days, I see where some a ya still think that I?m talkin? about the examples that I use. That?s alright. You can?t understand Jesus? parables or The Constitution. I don?t put things as simple as those folks did, so I reckon? How simple can ya get, anyways? There?s one or two of ya I do gots some hope for. ?Least yer a doin? yer own thinkin?? Shoot, you even check up on me to see if my eyes is brown or not! Well, good on ya, then! I ain?t as far off as ya thought, am I?

Some of you folks need to be certified and licensed ?fore ya start thinkin?, I reckon. A feller that don?t know how is kinda dangerous. I reckon that?s ok. Yer plumb used to the government, the media, a preacher, or some kinda activist, a tellin? ya how to think. ?Just as well be licensed to think, ya reckon? It?s a reference to ?1984? ya dope. Thought Police. ?Come to that, some animals are better than others, too? Some of you folks obviously don?t like the kinda animals that can think for themselves. That license to think that ya get from the government? Oh, that? That?s that diploma ya get from school.

?Ya run across a feller who don?t think the way them government schools license ya to think, why, y?all calls him crazy. If?n he?s rich enough, ya call him eccentric. Now, I mean to say that runnin? around with yer underwear on yer head is a tad more than just bein? eccentric, but I ain?t talkin? about folks like that. Them sociologists and psychologists and such gots real big fancy words they use fer folks that think fer themselves. Somethin? to do with not bein? integrated inta society. When it comes to alla that, I kinda like bein? segregated, myself. ?Means them folks who got them licenses to think from the government think that I?m kinda crazy. They figger thinkin? fer yerself is a real dangerous thing when ya know how to do it without the government?s help. They?ll even give ya drugs to help ya think the way that yer supposed to! We don?t have government schools? Why?you are kinda ignorant, ain?t ya?

I see, too, where a lot of ya just disagree with folks like me, and ya don?t wanta study up on things yerself, even when yer told where ta go to study up on it some. That?s why I?ve mentioned before that some of you folks might be wearin? diapers. Little babies need to have their food all mashed up, and then they needa be spoon-fed. Adults know how to hunt things down, kill ?em, skin ?em, cook ?em, and feed themselves! Adults even use real knives and forks to do it with! I?m talkin? about yer thinkin? here, ya dipstick. I ain?t talkin? about huntin? fer anything exceptin? the truth of a matter. Most of ya wouldn?t know the truth if?n it jumped up and bit ya?and when it does, ya want the government to fix it so that the truth don?t bother ya no more?instead of fixin? things yerselves, or facin? the truth.

Fer example, (I better tell ya it?s an example. I know how much trouble you have keepin? up.) some of you folks was a raisin? hell about a recent episode of CSI? Where they had a feller that was all into what they call infantilism? Means he liked to dress up like a baby and have ?Mommy? take care of him. I saw that as a metaphor for how Americans?re livin? today, myself. A lot of them TV and movie writers knows all about Joseph Campbell, mythology, metaphor and allegory, so get a clue. What I?m a sayin? is, that you wanta be in charge, but when things gets a little tough on ya, you want ?Mommy? to come long to take care of ya. That license to think that ya get from the government makes sure that yer thinkin?s lined up to do just that, too.

Lemme give ya one example. This ain?t the point, ya idjit. This is just the example, and it?s just one example, too. There?s a lot of folks a runnin? around who yell and holler all about how Patriotic that they are. They?ll tell all about how bad the government is, or they?ll tell all about how Bush or Kerry, or someone like that, is messin? things up, and we oughta take our government back. When a thinkin? feller gets to lookin? at what they?re a sayin?, he?ll see that what those ?Patriotic? folks is a goin? on about lines up quite a bit like what them Socialist Party and Communist Party folks gots to say about things. They?ll go on about how bad big corporations are. They?ll go on about how the government oughta make another law to do or not to do whatever they?re goin? on about. And if the government oughta do it, then you oughta toss the bastards out on their ears, so that so and so and such and such can get in there and take care of it for ya. It ain?t inna Constitution like that, ya see. Inna Constitution, you was supposed to be all growed up and a thinkin? fer yerselves. The government wasn?t supposed to be directly involved with anything in yer house, yer lives, yer job, or yer state. It?s the same way inna Bible. The church ain?t there to run yer lives for ya.

But you folks is like this with the Constitution: It?s all made up fer other folks to live by, if ya even believe in it. It don?t apply to what you want, when you want it, the way that you want it. If it don?t fit what the government, or the media, or the school, or the activists tell ya to think, you don?t pay no attention to none of it. Y?all do the same thing with the Bible. If?n the Bible don?t match what the preacher says, ya don?t pay no attention to any of it. That place inna Bible wasn?t talkin? about food when it told about a feller who put his hand inna bowl?and was too lazy to bring it up to his mouth to put food in it. It was talkin? about yer thinkin?.

Them churches? They give y?all licenses to think, too, ya know. It?s called a ?Baptismal? certificate. (They go other certificates for ya, too.) You won?t get baptized until you think the way that they want ya to think. ?Don?t matter what the Bible says. Ya see, communism and socialism ain?t dead, folks. Yer a livin? it and yer a callin? it ?Patriotism? and yer a callin? it ?Christianity.? You folks goin? to them churches? Apostasy ain?t dead neither. Yer a livin? it.

Y?all don?t see that, ?cause you can?t think without a license, don?t ya know. ?and ya can?t, and won?t, even feed yerselves?with truth and knowledge. This is why the nation and the church is in the shape that it?s in. The people perish without knowledge, and you don?t want any. I mean, if?n ya get yerself some truth and knowledge, and start in a thinkin? fer yerself, ya might lose yer license, don?t ya know. You want to be one of the animals that?s better than others, ya see?

Warm up yer coffee, folks. Get yer head wrapped around yer day ?fore ya head out. It?s a new day! We?ve got anew opportunity to get ?er all sorted out. We?ve got another chance to get right. Make sure ya take advantage of it, will ya?

All Four Stanzas
By Isaac Asimov
Introductory Note. Unless you're already well acquainted with our "national anthem," this interesting piece by the late Isaac Asimov will be an eye-opener. It was for me. It's especially appropriate at a time when there is much talk of tossing out this difficult-to-sing and difficult-to-comprehend old song in favor of something that better suits Ray Charles' voice. You'll understand the song much better after you read Mr. Asimov's explanation.
--Hardly Waite, Gazette Senior Editor.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have a weakness--I am crazy, absolutely nuts, about our national anthem.

The words are difficult and the tune is almost impossible, but frequently when I'm taking a shower I sing it with as much power and emotion as I can. It shakes me up every time.

I was once asked to speak at a luncheon. Taking my life in my hands, I announced I was going to sing our national anthem--all four stanzas.

This was greeted with loud groans. One man closed the door to the kitchen, where the noise of dishes and cutlery was loud and distracting. "Thanks, Herb," I said.

"That's all right," he said. "It was at the request of the kitchen staff."

I explained the background of the anthem and then sang all four stanzas.

Let me tell you, those people had never heard it before--or had never really listened. I got a standing ovation. But it was not me; it was the anthem.

More recently, while conducting a seminar, I told my students the story of the anthem and sang all four stanzas. Again there was a wild ovation and prolonged applause. And again, it was the anthem and not me.

So now let me tell you how it came to be written.

In 1812, the United States went to war with Great Britain, primarily over freedom of the seas. We were in the right. For two years, we held off the British, even though we were still a rather weak country. Great Britain was in a life and death struggle with Napoleon. In fact, just as the United States declared war, Napoleon marched off to invade Russia. If he won, as everyone expected, he would control Europe, and Great Britain would be isolated. It was no time for her to be involved in an American war.

At first, our seamen proved better than the British. After we won a battle on Lake Erie in 1813, the American commander, Oliver Hazard Perry, sent the message "We have met the enemy and they are ours." However, the weight of the British navy beat down our ships eventually. New England, hard-hit by a tightening blockade, threatened secession.

Meanwhile, Napoleon was beaten in Russia and in 1814 was forced to abdicate. Great Britain now turned its attention to the United States, launching a three-pronged attack. The northern prong was to come down Lake Champlain toward New York and seize parts of New England. The southern prong was to go up the Mississippi, take New Orleans and paralyze the west. The central prong was to head for the mid-Atlantic states and then attack Baltimore, the greatest port south of New York. If Baltimore was taken, the nation, which still hugged the Atlantic coast, could be split in two. The fate of the United States, then, rested to a large extent on the success or failure of the central prong.

The British reached the American coast, and on August 24, 1814, took Washington, D. C. Then they moved up the Chesapeake Bay toward Baltimore. On September 12, they arrived and found 1000 men in Fort McHenry, whose guns controlled the harbor. If the British wished to take Baltimore, they would have to take the fort.

On one of the British ships was an aged physician, William Beanes, who had been arrested in Maryland and brought along as a prisoner. Francis Scott Key, a lawyer and friend of the physician, had come to the ship to negotiate his release. The British captain was willing, but the two Americans would have to wait. It was now the night of September 13, and the bombardment of Fort McHenry was about to start.

As twilight deepened, Key and Beanes saw the American flag flying over Fort McHenry. Through the night, they heard bombs bursting and saw the red glare of rockets. They knew the fort was resisting and the American flag was still flying. But toward morning the bombardment ceased, and a dread silence fell. Either Fort McHenry had surrendered and the British flag flew above it, or the bombardment had failed and the American flag still flew.

As dawn began to brighten the eastern sky, Key and Beanes stared out at the fort, tyring to see which flag flew over it. He and the physician must have asked each other over and over, "Can you see the flag?"

After it was all finished, Key wrote a four stanza poem telling the events of the night. Called "The Defence of Fort M'Henry," it was published in newspapers and swept the nation. Someone noted that the words fit an old English tune called "To Anacreon in Heaven" --a difficult melody with an uncomfortably large vocal range. For obvious reasons, Key's work became known as "The Star Spangled Banner," and in 1931 Congress declared it the official anthem of the United States.

Now that you know the story, here are the words. Presumably, the old doctor is speaking. This is what he asks Key

Oh! say, can you see, by the dawn's early light,
W hat so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?

And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof thro' the night that our flag was still there.
Oh! say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave,
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

"Ramparts," in case you don't know, are the protective walls or other elevations that surround a fort. The first stanza asks a question. The second gives an answer

On the shore, dimly seen thro' the mist of the deep,
Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep.
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?

Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,
In full glory reflected, now shines on the stream
'Tis the star-spangled banner. Oh! long may it wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

"The towering steep" is again, the ramparts. The bombardment has failed, and the British can do nothing more but sail away, their mission a failure.

In the third stanza, I feel Key allows himself to gloat over the American triumph. In the aftermath of the bombardment, Key probably was in no mood to act otherwise.

During World War II, when the British were our staunchest allies, this third stanza was not sung. However, I know it, so here it is

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion
A home and a country should leave us no more?
Their blood has washed out their foul footstep's pollution.

No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave,
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

The fourth stanza, a pious hope for the future, should be sung more slowly than the other three and with even deeper feeling.

Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved homes and the war's desolation,
Blest with vict'ry and peace, may the Heav'n - rescued land
Praise the Pow'r that hath made and preserved us a nation.

Then conquer we must, for our cause is just,
And this be our motto--"In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

I hope you will look at the national anthem with new eyes. Listen to it, the next time you have a chance, with new ears.

And don't let them ever take it away.

--Isaac Asimov, March 1991

A feller?d be better off buyin? a pig.

?Mornin? folks! How the hell are ya this mornin?, anyways? Coffee?s on, and it ain?t too bad this mornin?, either. Well. Grab yerself a cup and get ya some! If?n ya can?t keep up with me, how do ya expect to keep up with anybody else? Paper?ll be along after a bit, I reckon. I gots first dibs onna funny pages, too.

Well, I don?t rightly know where we?re a goin? this mornin?. I see where somebody finally figgered out that Terri Shiavo is bein? used fer political purposes. The Berkshire Eagle has a column on that. ?Course, somehow, Terri Shiavo bein? inna shape she?s in is all Bush?s fault. First it was hurricanes, then it was earthquakes, and now it?s Bush?s fault fer not raisin? folks from the dead. Some of you folks need to be on them drugs the government?s gonna make ya take! ?I wonder what they?d say if GW walked in there and said, ?Be healed.? ?and she got out of bed and started dancin?? Then they?d call him be a demon from hell a doin? false miracles, I reckon? ?Course, if ya don?t believe in that sort of thing, how can ya?anyways? I wonder about you folks sometimes. (It?s not about Bush; it?s not about Shiavo. It?s about yer thinkin?, ya dipsticks.)

I was gettin? some of those email alerts from one of them third party candidates. I can?t spell his name right. Shoot. I can?t even pronounce it! He hasn?t got a chance just on that count alone. Folks needs easy names to keep track of. Truman. Kennedy. Nixon. Ford. Carter. Reagan. Bush. Clinton. Kerry. Dean. Things like that. None of them fellers with the three and four syllable names ever get elected president anymore, ya know. If I was runnin? a political party, I?d pay attention to that trend. Ain?t no wonder them folks in power treat ya like yer idjits? I reckon a candidate name of ?Cat? would be right popular amongst ya. Kindergarten? First grade? C.A.T.? ?I don?t know why I even bother with ya?

Anyways, he was rantin? and ravin? over stuff, and makin? claims on bein? a Christian. Well, I don?t mind that last so much, but I figger a real Christian woulda made some more sense than alla that. Puttin? onna mind of Christ is all about not bein? stupid nor actin? ignorant no more. Ya see, some of what he was a goin? on about just doesn?t have anything to do with reality. He was ignorin? the law, ignorin? the Constitution, and all sorts of stuff like that. He was even ignorin? the Bible fer that matter! It also revealed that he doesn?t know anything about what?s goin? on overseas. He doesn?t have a foreign policy. In other words, he?s not a man I?d like to have runnin? the country? Most of them third parties are like that. They ain?t got a comprehensible domestic policy, and they can?t come up with a coherent foreign policy. All ya gotta do is to listen to ?em rant and rave, and they?ll tell ya all about how much they don?t know that they don?t know.

That?s one of the main reasons that a third party feller ain?t got a chance no more. You get to visitin? with any of ?em fer any length of time, you?ll find out that they just want to ?replace the bastards? with their own selves. That?s about it fer alla changin? that they wanta do. There?s been a couple of them third parties the last few years that wanted me to get all involved with ?em. If?n ya ask ?em a couple of questions somewhere along the way, you?ll find out the same things I did about ?em. ?Do you have a platform? Do you have a domestic policy? Do you have a foreign policy? What is your plan for change once you?re elected?? They can?t answer most of those kinds a questions directly. Them just sayin? ?Yes,? or, ?We?re working on it.? is not an answer.

They get to rantin? and ravin?, and tell all about how, ?The bastards gotta go! We?ve got to change things!? ?but they don?t have a plan. ?And they don?t have anything resemblin? any kind of coherent domestic or foreign policy. Ya start gettin? into detailed questions about those kinds a things, and they ain?t got an answer. Ya got nuthin? to contribute third party folks. If?n I was a runnin? a debate, I wouldn?t let ya inna door either. Am I against third party politicians? Nope. I?m against stupidity. I?ve visited with all y?all enough to know that all that yer really interested in is bein? a big fish in somebody else?s pond. It?s not about anything else but yer thinkin?, ya see.

If?n ya wanta change things, ya gotta have a plan. Ya gotta have a strategy. Ya gotta have a vision. Ya gotta have a foreign and domestic policy that is comprehensive and detailed. ?and ya can?t let every idjit that comes along join up with ya when ya first start out, ?cause all most of ?em are there to do is to cause trouble. Who ya got runnin? things in yer party tells a lot about what kinda leader ya got as a candidate, too. It tells what kinda manager ya got as a candidate.

One of them new third parties out there tried to get me to join up with ?em recent-like. Everything that I?ve mentioned this mornin? that?s a negative, they got goin? for ?em. The ones I was talkin? about earlier has been around fer awhile. From the oldest third party among ya to the newest, it?s all the same with you folks. If I were investin? inna business, I wouldn?t touch any of ya with a twenty-nine and a half foot pole. Ya lookit the people, ya lookit the ?business plan,? and ya lookit the ?prospectus,? and there ain?t nuthin? there to invest in.

Until you third party folks get a clue and start in a thinkin?, a feller?d be better off buyin? a pig. It won?t be as stinky, it won?t cost near as much, and once ya slaughter it, ya done know where the pork went when yer eatin? yer breakfast inna mornin?. If one of you third parties ever gets a clue, a feller best hang on to his hat, I figger, ?cause things is a gonna get right interestin?! It?ll be a helluva ride. Especially if?n one of ya is actually devoted to this nation, and to the cause of freedom.

?And don?t be a makin? stuff up about what the Bible says. Read the dang thing first, will ya? Jeez?how ignorant can ya get? Just ?cause you don?t know what it says, don? mean everybody else don?t. Talk about bein' elitist. The way you people think, sometimes?

Warm up yer coffee, folks! It?s a new day! We?ve got another chance to get ?er all sorted out. We?ve got another opportunity to get it right. Make sure ya take advantage of it

Assess the cost, but do what?s right

?Mornin? folks! How the hell are ya this mornin?, anyways? Coffee?s on and is it good this mornin?, too! Grab yerself a cup and get ya some. ?Late as it?s gettin?, ya oughta be awake by now, I?d imagine. Paper?ll be long after a bit, I reckon. I gots first dibs onna funny pages, too!

Well, I got up real late, and once I went through my emails and scanned the news, about all I could do was to just sit here fer a bit and shake my head at ya. All I see is fear out there among ya. Fear and ignorance.

I sent out some stuff to some of ya about ?Vietnam: Facts and Myths,? yesterday? ?Lot of ya never heard the truth about that before. ?And none of ya can put two plus two together to make anything out of it. Thing is, I don?t reckon any of ya figgered the same thing might be true about Iraq?or about a lot of other things. A lot of ya think ya know the truth, but what ya think ya know is a might different than reality. ?Just like with Vietnam. Fer you folks that think that the U.S. bein? in Vietnam was a bad thing, you don?t know nuthin? at all. Yer absolutely ignorant about just about everything there is to be ignorant about, from politics and religion, to history and warfare?and diplomacy. You name it, yer ignorant.

Just fer a sampler: Kyrgyzstan? Why is it destablizin?? Bet ya don?t know. Kyrgyzstan just happens to be strategically located, geographically speakin?, of course. Pakistan? Why is it destablizin?? Bet ya don?t know. I?ll give ya ?Clue.? The U.S. ain?t the problem in either case! In Pakistan, it?s not entirely Musharraf?s fault, neither. Another ?Clue? is that Pakistan is backin? Nepal against the Maoist rebels within its borders. Nepal is strategically located, geographically speakin?. Another ?Clue?? If I were you, I?d think about alla that open involvement by China in America?s internal affairs. Even in the last national election cycle, China was involved. Another ?Clue?? Look to our porous borders, north and south. Then think about China buyin? up U.S. debt?all that it can get it?s hands on. Insanity? Nope. Truth. Do your own research. China has even been involved, quite onna sly, with certain types of religious militants runnin? around the world. Don?t call me a liar until after ya do alla yer own research. Callin? me names without a doin? yer research tells me that yer afraid of somethin?.

Then, when ya get to lookin? at things like alla them doctors and nurses finally steppin? up and complainin? about that Shiavo feller? That gets me to wonderin? about all kinds a things, that does. I?ll keep it simple for ya, and just stick to one of ?em. Why didn?t them nurses holler about any of it before? They done had fifteen years to holler about it! If he was such a bad guy, they could?ve gotten him replaced as her legal guardian years ago, don?t ya know! Ok, fine. Let?s go with the premise that ol? Michael is a dirtbag. Whether he is or he isn?t, that still leaves my question hangin? out there. So?why did they wait until just now, at this time, at this point in history, to tell everyone what a dirtbag he is? What?s their motivation? The purity of their motivation is already in question, ya see. They?ve had fifteen years to scream bloody murder. Why wait?until now? Because they were afraid?because someone might?ve called ?em a liar.

There was another situation inna news recently. Nurses again. (It ain?t about nurses, ya idjit. It?s about yer thinkin?.) There was a situation where one male nurse was physically and sexually abusin? helpless female patients fer years and years. His fellow workers, other nurses in particular, knew that he was up to somethin?. They never said a word. He finally got caught outright abusin? a patient. Now those nurses are speakin? up and tellin? all about what a dirtbag he is. Why didn?t they speak up years ago and get him tossed in jail? They were afraid someone would call them a liar. They were afraid they?d lose their jobs, and then, of course, they?d lose their homes and cars and such as that. Well, because the bank owns their stuff, if they lose their job fer tellin? the truth, they?ll lose everything. There?s been more?n a few folks end up homeless in this nation fer just tellin? the truth.

Then there?s this stuff all about lettin? Imams teach Islam in yer schools and universities. Most of ya is lettin? it happen?because yer afraid to speak up and tell ?em to stop. If they ain?t a gonna teach the Bible, which is the foundation upon which this nation was built, why are ya lettin? ?em teach Islam? Islam is the most violent religion on the face of the earth, yet somehow, you listen to them Imams when they tell ya how peaceful a religion it is?when all of the facts tell quite another story. Ya see, they go right from teachin? in yer school how peaceful a religion Islam is, go straight to their mosques, and then teach about how infidels oughta die or be forced to be made subject to Islam. Why don?t you speak up and tell ?em to stop? Because yer afraid they?ll call you a bad name. If they call ya enough bad names, yer boss will get scared and he?ll fire ya. If they call ya enough bad names, they might even take you to jail?or sue ya in court?just fer tellin? the truth.

Christianity? Not as violent as ya might think. Most of the violence done by Christians all of those years ago was nothin? less than life or death, self-defense, against?Islam. A thousand year long war?that Islam started. Christianity was very nearly wiped out?as were Christians. Kinda like Vietnam, Iraq and Islam and China. You only think that you know the truth and the facts.

And because yer afraid of bein? called a bad name, and because ya live in constant fear, you?ll listen to folks who lie to ya about everything, and you?ll accept those lies as truth. Part of the reason why ya live in fear is because yer ignorant. Part of the reason that yer ignorant is because yer afraid. Yer afraid of the truth. You want to be in control of this ol? world, and the truth is, you ain?t. A man who?s free doesn?t live in ignorance. An adult doesn?t live in fear. A good man won?t live like any of that. No matter what he thinks it?ll cost him, he?ll do what?s right. Assess the cost, but do what?s right?or get the hell outta the way so that somebody else can.

There?s a lot more?n alla that a goin? on here this mornin?. I?ll let you sort it out. If?n ya ain?t afraid to. Scaredy-cat, scaredy-cat! Nyah-na-na-nyah-na! Can?t think, scared to blink! Yer dirty little diaper stinks!

?buncha ignorant, frightened, kids?every last one of ya.

Warm up yer coffee, folks. It?s a new day! We?ve got another opportunity to get ?er all sorted out. We?ve got another chance to get ?er right. Make sure ya take advantage of it.
