Default Order of names on the Wall

The first name is located in the center of the memorial, at the top of the Wall, under the date "1959," the year of the first death2. The names continue line by line down each panel, as if each was a page in a book, towards the right end of the memorial. The names resume at the left end of the memorial and continue toward the center. It is here, at the bottom of the wall, where the last death is recorded, next to the date "1975."

Just thought you might like to know, in case you didn't

Ron

For those whom may read this, and did not know....

Subnote:

1) "Diamond" following a fallens name, notes fallen being brought home.

2) "Cross" following a fallens name, notes "Body Not Recovered".

When remains of a fallen MIA is recovered and identified, the "Cross" following his name, is changed to a "Diamond". One can yet however see traces of this having been done, when looking closely on the "sign" following the name. Please see for example:

compared with:

http://www.pownetwork.org/bios/l/l009.htm
http://www.pownetwork.org/bios/g/g005.htm

and compare with attached photograph below. (Photograph taken by A.B, on June 2nd, 2004.

Sincerely
A.B

Too many names to remember ,took me over 25 years to stop greiving for over 58,000+. It was too much, and finally had to get help letting it go. May our fallen brothers and sisters who cared for us rest in peace.
