Arrow,

Got the messages from the troops. Tell them for me that I appreciate their thoughts, as they are in mine.

There's no excuse for my not being on the web any more. But the guys, each and every one of them, are in my thoughts.

If it's in the cards I will see some of them, hopefully a lot of them, next year. As you know, transportationwise, this past year started out poorly, went downhill, and is still not recovered. And now, for the next four months I'll be wearing my arm garters and little hat with the green celluloid eyeshade.

Give them my very best. Every one of them. In fact, I'm sending a Christmas card to 'em, through you, okay?
