LIKE IT OR NOT, we, as a nation, are heading in a strange direction – and one that may not, in my opinion, be exactly what “Our Founding Fathers” had in mind?

Granted, we have helped in evolving our species to new, costly, and exciting levels! But overall, we have also digressed at an alarming speed? And merely closing our blood-shot and tired eyes to the reality of things will not merely make them all go away – and that’s a fact Jack!!

Maybe it’s about time that we all back-up a step or two, take another deep long breath and then re-examine our overall direction, our general motivation and our final objectives?

For only then, will be able to determine if we are truly and firmly set upon the path that was always intended by those far wiser heads that founded and evolved “Our Nation” to begin with?” (This is only a vague and floundering idea of course?)

“Or Have We Genuinely and Irreparably - Lost All that it takes to continue to deserve the titles of American, Patriot, Progressive, Human, and Enlightened!?” (hrt)

HC - We are going through a period of adjustment.

The compensation's did not really put America back on its feet - (not to say it didn't help a bit) but it didn't have the effect they thought it would be.

The slide we are on hasn't reached the bottom yet - but unless the Congress can work together it will only get worse.

I suspect that its going to be very difficult to recover from.

The cost of everything of late has driven us further into the hole.
Recovery will be years down the road - and there is no quick fix
or band aide to cover the open wounds.

The virus issues didn't help any that's for sure. Insecurity is rising once again.

The workforce has not recovered - and shortages are still occurring.
-
The cost of everything has doubled or tripled in the last year.
-
Suppliers have fallen and the cost of everything is at record highs.
-
Bill's are stacking up and payments are defaulting from lack of jobs.
-
We are in a mess - waste high now - neck high shortly.
-
I don't know the fix? And nether does our government. Until they work together
we are doomed to a major recession and crime will increase.

It's not a pretty picture that's for sure.
