By Wednesday morning, the Coast Guard was awaiting further orders from its command at Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., Walker said. Using a 45-foot search-and-rescue boat, the Coast Guard searched for seven-and-a-half hours, beginning at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
