Default Kelso Platoon Delta Co 3/21st Christmas Day 1969.

Taken on Christmas Day 1969 somewhere in the jungle,Paul Mulcahy(Towanda,PA) and Mario Cornelio(Chicago,IL) holding bumper sticker.Robert Dyson(Wappingers Falls,NY) in center, kneeling.Standing with hippie beads and giving the Peace sign is Ronald Bowden(Portland, OR).On far left is a guy who name is the only thing that has faded and me,standing, holding up belt of M-60 ammo that decorated our Christmas Tree. Our Bamboo Christmas tree had all the shiny items we could get.Candy wrappers, silver foil from inside cigarettes packs, discarded tin cans sent from some Christmas packages and a belt of M-60 ammo.I prayed for peace on Earth and especially Peace on Earth right out there in front of my foxhole. The tree didn't stay up very long but we had a Christmas tree.

This was another platoon's Christmas tree, someone got a small tree in the mail and everyone put out their Christmas cards, and joyous time was had by all.
