Default A Memorial

Slip off that pack. Set it down by the crooked trail. Drop that steel pot alongside. Shed those magazine-laden bandoliers away from your sweat-soaked shirt. Lay that silent weapon down and step out of the heat. Feel the soothing cool breeze right down to your soul ... and rest forever in the shade of our love, brother.

So very sad to hear of his passing.

We shared many a pm together. He was my friend. It my hope that we can in someway contact the family and let them know how much we enjoyed and appreciated Roger.

I believe that God has a special place for Fallen Warriors in Heaven, and we know that you are there. We will miss you here, but we also realize that your battle is over on earth and take comfort in the fact that you now reside with Him.

Ellie, may God bless and comfort you and the family and bring peace to you in this difficult time.

With Love.

Oh Man!

I'll miss his chats. He taught me so much. His knowlege of history, first hand and other wise, was invaluable!

My heart is breaking for missed opportunities. My prayers for the family.
