President John F Kerry, sounds great to wall street
http://www.forbes.com/business/newsw...tr1249453.html
Kerry presidency seen a boon for U.S. markets Reuters, 02.06.04, 11:34 AM ET By Chris Sanders NEW YORK (Reuters) - If John Kerry wins the Democratic nomination and goes on to be the next U.S. president, experts say it would be good for Wall Street, which likes the way he talks up balancing the budget. Kerry, a U.S. senator from Massachusetts, has won seven of nine contests so far to determine the Democratic party's nominee, and faces five more races in the next five days. "Kerry (policy) will probably be similar to a Clinton economic policy, which would be more focused on balancing the budget," said Gus Faucher, a senior economist with Economy.com, where he tracks elections. "That would bring down interest rates and drive up bond prices," he added. Bond yields and prices move in opposite directions. Stocks are a different story. Analysts said a successfully balanced budget will eventually help stocks once the deficit becomes more manageable. It is not a done deal that Kerry will be the nominee. He still faces stiff competition from North Carolina Sen. John Edwards and retired Gen. Wesley Clark. The party's previous front-runner, Howard Dean, a former governor of Vermont, also remains in the race, but has seen his support slip after several disappointing performances. -- |

If that is the case how come the DOW went down last week when Kerry took a couple of States? Nigel Brooks |

Pres & Viet Cong Sympathizer John F Kerry, sounds great to Ho Chi Mihn & Hanoi Janes
"Nigel Brooks˛°°4©"
> "Oklahoma Joe" More on how John Kerry stabbed real Vietnam Vets in the back and called them ALL "baby killers" so he could get elected to Congress. http://www.usvetdsp.com/jf_kerry.htm Much of Kerry's speech before Congress painted his fellow GIs as so brutal that, today, they could easily be mistaken for Saddam Hussein's Fedayeen killers. He reported to Congress that U.S. soldiers had "personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam." Kerry's hero JFK started the Vietnam War. The Kennedys & LBK got richer of Vietnam and so did Kerry. |

From http://www.miafacts.org/prankster.htm In 1988 Sampley - who at the time had no personal stake in MIA issue - tried to turn one family's somber moment into a scandal that would help perpetuate the POW movement. Instead, Sampley's effort came across as a vulgar grab for center stage. The episode revolved around the case of a Navy pilot, Commander Edwin B. Tucker. Tucker had been shot down over North Vietnam eleven years earlier. He was thought to have been captured and was listed as a POW. He was later listed as killed in action. His remains were returned to the United States and were buried with full military honors in 1988 at Arlington National Cemetery. Shortly after the funeral, Sampley called a press conference in Norfolk, Virginia, where Tucker's former aircraft carrier is based. Sampley announced that Tucker's body had been on display for fifteen years inside a glass case in Vietnam. Sampley said Tucker's family had been forced to pledge secrecy on the matter before being allowed to receive the remains. From http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.../lopez/1793430 Finally Sunday, despite increased security at the Manhattanville game after [Jerry] Kiley threatened administrators that he would confront Smith, Kiley snuck into the fieldhouse and went nose-to-nose with Smith while she lined up for a teammate's free throw. Smith clearly was shaken when Kiley faced her, later telling reporters she could not understand what Kiley was telling her. Kiley said afterward that he told Smith, "This flag represents the sacrifices of men and women who have given their lives for freedom." Security personnel quickly reached Kiley, and he was escorted out of the building but not arrested. The Valiants, who are 16-9 for the season, today will be at their tiny 300-seat gym to again face the Merchant Marine Academy in their first Division III conference playoff game. Kiley has threatened to disrupt the game again if Smith turns away from the flag. > > Much of Kerry's speech before Congress painted his fellow GIs as so > brutal that, today, they could easily be mistaken for Saddam Hussein's > Fedayeen killers. > > He reported to Congress that U.S. soldiers had "personally raped, cut > off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human > genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, > randomly shot at civilians, razed villages, shot cattle and dogs for > fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of > South Vietnam." > > > Kerry's hero JFK started the Vietnam War.
