A friend once told me, "'Fire when fired upon' is an interesting concept, but I'd rather make it home to my wife and kids. If someone points a weapon at me, and I'm armed, I'm taking his ass out." When I asked about that rule I was told, "You do have the right and obligation to defend yourself and others." If I get the first round off, that just means he has a slower trigger finger. A woman by the name of Joyce insists that I come home with no extra holes whenever my ship moores. I aim to keep that promise.
