Default CAN WE REALLY TRUST BILATERAL SECURITY SYSTEM ?

CAN WE REALLY TRUST BILATERAL SECURITY SYSTEM ?

Is there any morality left one my ask ?

As a citizen of the Only Super Power in the World , I would vote
against risking nuclear annihilation for the sake of saving the Brits
let alone the South Korean, The Taiwanese or the Japs..
The Brits now are popular in my country but I don't think that this
popularity is going to last. With Tony's fortune on the wane, a Labor
change of leadership is possible, Robin Cook might be the next P.M
with his friend Ms Clara Short in important position and Alastair
Campbell and Gordon Brown following Tony to the exit, a reverse policy
in Iraq is not in the domain of hallucination but a distinct
possibility. You will see then if real durable affection for our
no-longer-permanent friend is going to last .

If now I were to talk about the real riff raff like Pakistan, Turkey,
Afghanistan, Indonesia and another country you want to put on the
list and I don't Vietnam , a nuclear umbrella to protect them IS OUT
OF THE QUESTION.

For this to happen we have to make these countries our protectorates
with absolute control of their Foreign Policy, Police and Army. I
don't want my new Country to defend any future Musharaf of Pakistan
if his Secret service were to provoke war with India 20 years from now
when India might have enough nuclear tipped missiles to destroy New
York, Chicago and Los Angeles .

Your example of how a treaty with the US had protected South Korea and
Taiwan is irrelevant..

Up to now there is absolutely NO risk for the US Navy to patrol the
Sea Of Japan and the Taiwan Straits to deter Chinese and North Korean
aggression This will not occur now because China and Russia are
still weak. In twenty years or in fifty years it will be different
Sir !
