What would your political platform look like? Since I asked, I'll go first.

1. Adopt the FairTax Plan that would abolish all other federal taxes, the IRS, and many parts of the federal bureaucracy.

2. Restructure the VA, fund it to the point where promised benefits are delivered, giving veterans a choice of where they receive treatments, medications, etc.

3. Abolish the Dept. of Education, since education is not rightfully a responsibility of the federal government. Reduce federal employment by 10% across the board.

4. Completely revamp border security, by first securing the borders, then start rounding up illegals. Immediately deport all illegals currently occupying any of our jails or prisons. Register all illegals. Enact laws making it a felony for employers to hire illegals, with fines of $100,000 per day per wetback. Prohibit the exportation of illegals' paychecks to Mexico. Initiate a guest worker program which balances jobs with able bodied workers. Require guest workers to leave after two years.

5. Fund hydrogen-cell development for eventual installation in automobiles.

6. Fast-track construction of nuclear-powered generating stations.

7. Enact legislation that term-limits representatives and senators.

8. Start privatizing the Social Security system, allowing graduated percentages of funds to be invested in private accounts, with younger employees having the larger percentages. Eventually eliminate it with private accounts. Begin incremental elimination of the drug benefit plan as well.

9. Enact the line-item veto process.

10. Reform and re-align the Dept of Defense to make it more responsive to wars of the 21st century.

Don't think I would do this. Many years ago the some state privatized their retirements with disasterous effects. People don't manage their own money well.

11. The Medical Industry needs a complete overhaul. Expenses are getting out of hand. Inflation in the Medical Industry far exceeds any other industry. Greed on all levels from the Drug Companies, Medical Equipment Suppliers, Insurance Companies, and Medical Workers themselves. Something has to be done.

Look at the tax dollars generated by legaizing the 3. Either by todays tax method or under the fair tax. Plus the control and possible eliminatiom of STD's here in the U.S.

Never was nor ever will be one accused of consorting with enemy or those whom DO NOT have MY/YOUR/ALL Americans very best interests & well-being at heart. The necessary politics and pandering to minorities & foreign nationals, simply does not permit such.

Regardless, liked your: "2. Restructure The VA,...", even though quite ironic since EXACTLY how used to be & WORKED QUITE WELL FOR THE VETERAN.

After 1945 & WWII and even for quite some time after my discharge in '58, all DAV's not hopspitalized had CHOICE of 3 of The Very Best Specialists for their specific malady to choose from locally, for weekly or monthly visits, treatments or emergencies. Same choice given Veteran for what Local Drug Store preferred for acquiring their needed Meds.

Isn't it also ironic that when career-politicians and/or mis-managers or money-diverters wormed their way into total control of The VA, dispicable Horror Stories mounted greatly and VA perpetually needed FIXING or: "MO (Taxpayer) MONEY",...and much like The Politically Toyed With Social Security System. Used to be The Social Security FUND.

Reinstitute the "Chain Gang" work teams in Federal prisons. Those chain gangs to be directed by construction engineers and utilized in the repair and rebuilding public roadways and superstructures. Armed prisoner guards will be assigned to each Gang and work progress will be inspected daily with severe penalties of longer prison sentences for substandard work. Make the prisoner pay for his or her upkeep.
Mandatory prison terms of at least 50 years for any child molester should that molester survive his or her arrest and transport to local prison. Report documentation forms are available to arresting officers of said child molesters at the County Clerks office and must be filled out in triplicate to be filed for review on the arresting officer’s next performance review.
Peace officers that locate deceased child molesters shall contact Waste Management Inc. for necessary disposal of the corpse. Any police officer that locates a deceased child molester will be granted two weeks off with four weeks pay from his or her duties due to trauma recovery.

Most of us understand the differences between the Psyco Vet Party, as in a political organization, and Psyco Vet party, as in choir practice, midget toss, and bbq cook-off. A mere capitalization of the last word will sufficiently differientiate between a worthwhile activity and a social event!
