Putin told to fire nuclear missile at largest US weapon range as a 'warning'

Russian politician Yevgeny Alexeyevich Fyodorov called on Vladimir Putin to launch a ballistic missile at the largest weapon testing range in the US because he says western leaders have been acting "on the assumption that Putin has no trump cards in his hand"

A twisted Russian politician has urged Vladimir Putin to fire "a ballistic missile" at the largest weapons testing site in the US as a warning.

Yevgeny Alexeyevich Fyodorov - a deputy of Russia's Duma - urged the despot to push the button and launch a missile at the Nevada test range as a warning because western leaders are assuming "Putin has no trump cards in his hand."

Another of the "trump cards" he proposed was the bombing of laboratories belonging to the US armed forces.

Fyodorov believes that if Russia did strike its Cold War foe, the US wouldn't retaliate, the Daily Star reports.

His comments are the most-recent in a long line of bizarre statements about US-Russia relations in recent years - including CIA assassination plots, rock music likened to "US-instigated sabotage" and a western-backed "revolution" that would lead to child sterilisation and famine.

With sanctions still in place on Russia from western countries like the US and UK, President Vladimir Putin had warned that the sanctions were "akin to an act of war".

Fyodorov, in an interview translated by MEMRI TV, said: "Until there is a physical demonstration of (Moscow's) determination, America will perceive the positions of Russia and (Putin) as a bluff.

"So they need a demonstration. The most convincing demonstration would be the physical destruction of America's Defence Department facilities. I'm talking about facilities, which international law grants us the right to destroy."

The Russian parliament member also alleged that the missile strikes could hit the laboratories that "develop Covid-19 ".

Russian comment: Fyodorov believes the US would not retaliate if Russia struck its largest weapons testing facility. He has made several bizarre and conspiratorial comments about the US during his career.

He continued: "For instance, these could be the very same laboratories that develop Covid-19 or we could demonstratively strike the test range in Nevada with a ballistic missile."

Fyodorov, the coordinator of the National Liberation Movement, added: "Naturally, there will be no way back after firing such a missile.

"However, in this war we shouldn't threaten with strikes or offensives on Ukraine, but with damage to US territory.

"If we create for US territory - say, a risk of 10,000 casualties, from a strike of even a weak missile, then the US will perceive this as a threat of 10 million casualties. This is the American psychology, how they think about their country."

Fyodorov, who was interviewed in January of this year, added that because of the perceived psychology, "there will be no retaliation strike".

He also warned that the missile "could be a nuclear explosion" as the Nevada testing site is, according to Fyodorov, actively testing nuclear missiles.

Fyodorov has a long history of making strange and conspiratorial comments about US-Russian relations. Also; In 2014, he likened rock music to "US-instigated sabotage" after a Russian musician performed for Ukraine's internally displaced citizens following the war in Donbass.

Another outburst came in 2012 when he portrayed Russia and China as key powers saving the world from US "colonisation".

He has also expressed fears of a so-called "colour revolution" - organised by Western powers - that he says would lead to population reduction, civil war, child sterilisation, "LGBT agenda" and famine.

He also concluded the assassination of opposition politician Boris Nemtsov was orchestrated by CIA hitmen.

Personal note: Putin listen's to these radical idiots in his cabinet - and they must
all be drinking copious amounts of vodka - while in their assembly. Irrational verbiage
sends bad signals - all around the globe. And you wonder why their all nuts. I thought
Russian's were smarter then that - but hey - you get what for pay for and every dog
has their day. Of late though Russia is sending all the wrong signals - and they need
a change of leadership - if they are going exist - after a 3rd global world war breaks out.
