Happy Birthday To All You Coasties And Coastie Vets!!
Today, August 4th is the 213th birthday of the U.S. Coast Guard founded in 1790. We have served under the Treasury Department (until 1967), Transportation Department (until 2003) and now under the Department of Homeland Security.
