Many politicians have so much to say of a constructive nature, but isn’t it a blessed shame that far too many of them do not utilize all of that talent and verbosity in a more positive and constructive fashion? I mean, after all, how in Hades do they find the time to conduct any of the people’s business, when so much of their existence is occupied with pure bull-manure and character assassinations?

It seems to me that with all of their fine education, spiffy wardrobes, superb political connections, and endless zeal and verbosity, that they could find at least a little time now and then take a break from vested party politics and suing the ‘Hell’ out of each other, to concentrate upon what they were really hired to do?

Don’t the people of “Our Nation” deserve at least that much as pay back for our trust in them?

Dead on as usual. Getting in office of late is to tell folks what they want
to hear while they are running - sucking up to anyone who can improve
their odds of getting in office if & when elected. Chase down connections
for future job offers with the big money returns. More than half of the
folks in office aren't really qualified. They go in on the Presidential
Party Ticket and now they got a cushy office and positions of which they
can't improve or change. Make good money plus full benefits & expenses
for the rest of their lives (so in short - we are also paying for a lot of dead
wood - once they are out of office - as well).

And they will do whatever their party leaders tell them to do! Backbones
are removed upon receiving the oath of their new position.

It's a racket - much like the old mafia days - nothing changes.
