Wasted Talents

Nary a man is born who does not have some sort of hidden talent or ability? Some are dexterous with their hands, others are adroit with their brains, and many more have abilities that go virtually untapped or unrealized – but “virtually all” have some sort of talent that is beneficial to over all human existence!? But it is those individuals who allow these gifts to remain unused or even fallow, of whom I now speak! What a terrible waste of natural resources and God-Given Talents?!

How many ideas have gone unrealized, and how many boons to humanity have gone untapped and undeveloped, and this, just because some fool was too lazy to take mental notes, or too self-defeating, to believe even in himself? And how many more men (and women) of genuine talent and true grit, are virtually idolize, and this because of nothing more than self-belief?

They say that almost every man has some sort of innate talent, or even undeveloped ability! But how many of these man and women, exhaust entire careers toiling hard and long at arduous labors, and this merely to barely survive – ah yes, the pillars of today’s society!

“And there is nothing at all amiss with that, but every now and then, an individual comes along who truly believes in himself, his abilities, and his talents! And this is the individual who fears not to buck the system, or even to do something really earthshaking with his (or her) life! The individual who shrugs-off human convention, and who really tries to better the overall lot of mankind! “And maybe he succeeds, and maybe he does not”, but only time and fate itself can determine how he fits into them big picture – “Are You That Man?!”

But no man (or woman) is ever guaranteed success in life, and only if he does not aspire (try) to succeed, “is failure is all but certain?” But it also takes guts, grit, and a never say die attitude, to even be a contender in life, but only an unbeliever (even in yourself) - to be “An Abject Failure!”
