There were lots of stories about "Too Tall" when he died. They were in Idaho newspapers, military websites, hollywood websites (even though Paul Newman died the same day), even snopes and urbanlegends. Even McClatchy Newspapers.



It should not me a surprise that MSM didn't cover it. Even though Fox News did a special on him, I couldn't find any reference to his death there.

He was a HERO of the Vietnam War.

There are lots of MOH heros who are forgotten, even by us.

If we move near home, my next volunteer position position will be to organize the history of the local VFW and with help, get it online. VFW Post 379 should have a website as should the American Legion Post 36. The The UNITED STATES SUBMARINE VETERANS INC has a Yakima Base and meets at the American Legion hall.

We need to get our organizations to do press releases but first they need to collect the information so that funerals of our heros are attended by more that just a few old friends.

Wish I could, since I'm sure that any 1st Air Cav Div & 7th Cav Reg't Troopers (past & present)
would truly appreciate his being recognized & praised for such: "Above & Beyond..." Selfless
