To beat you to the questions -

I'm still in the service - located in Alaska, again. I have a desk job and am not slated for deployment currently.

I am married now - to the toughest woman I've ever known... she's also smart, funny, generous, tolerant of brad, optimistic, oh, and did I mention beautiful? We're expecting a daughter in December. Wow, what a year!

My dog is doing great and hits new records of spoiled every day!

Seatjerker - I gave up pushups for lent years ago, and it's worked so well that I will never go back!

Keith - picture of my wife!? I know you ya ol' codger, I don't want you chasing after her! I don't have any pictures on my office computer... if I make it up my driveway then I'll post some this weekend. Yeah, I made Captain - it was a tough cut, real stiff competition for that automatic promotion!

Reeb - not in Palin's office...I applied, but failed the application. I can't skate, so can't play hockey, haven't shot a moose... but I am giving my daughter an Alaskan middle name.

Sn-e3 - I absolutely love Alaska... I used staying-in as a bargaining chip to get me back up here!
