Blue Grass Army Depot Receives Second Army Superior Unit Award

For performance of duty during the one-year period from Oct. 1, 2011, to Sept. 30,2012, Blue Grass Army Depot (BGAD) was awarded it's second Army Superior Unit Award in a ceremony in front of the Depot's Lake Buck Lodge on September 16. On hand to formally mark the special occasion and present the flag streamer and certificate to BGAD Commander Col. Lee Hudson, was Brig. Gen. Stephen E. Farmen, Commanding General of the Joint Munitions Command (JMC), BGAD's immediatehigher headquarters based in Rock Island, IL.
