Visiting Day in the North Woods

Was lucky enough to spend the morning with Steve (splummer) this morning. My daughter and I drove the short distance to his home and had quiet a nice time drinking coffee and telling stories. Steve lives about twenty minutes from me, damn shame we have not done this since early this Spring. Have no one to blame but myself, will try harder to not let so much time pass between now and our next visit!

Bob...worked that issue real hard today, sounds like his dance card is going to be pretty full next Spring. Three honest-to-goodness reunions and possibly a daughter moving from the East Coast to the West Coast.

Have not given up yet, he seemed to perk up a bit when I told him about the bake-off and all the good choir music that is played. Might win him over yet!

I never come over here but just happened to notice Catman and Lt posted. Travis's 6 year old daughter is really cute and nice. She is so calm and just sat there while we talked for a few hours. I think she just wants to be by her daddy. Since there is no drinking on the moutain and I'm so much into church music etc I would really like to try to come next year if I can. [as long as there's no cops.]

Steve , look forward to meeting you on the mountain. We have our own cops : BobK and Andy. They are both sick cops but cops nevertheless. Ain't no one around for miles.
