Default NATO Official: Thin Line Between Cyber Crime, Cyberwarfare

BRUSSELS - A NATO official has described the line between cyber crime and cyberwarfare as being "very thin." "Hackers use the same methods to attack bank or government Web servers," said NATO's Cyber Defence Policy Advisor Heli Tiirmaa-Klaar at a Cyber Conference organized by the European People's Party, a group representing center-right MEPs, here Jan. 26. "Worms written for criminal purposes can easily be used for military purposes," she added.
