Mean What You Say

“Mean what you say – or suffer the consequences” – should this axiom (once again), ever become the primary tenet of “OUR GOVERNMENT!!” And in the event that you have not noticed it as yet, and just like a scant few used-car salesmen, the sky is not loaded with apple pie (or even daydreams for that matter) that are just waiting to fall gently upon the lives of the trusting and always believing among us? Of course, and this is only my own opinion, but I still can’t understand how we can continue to trust someone who says one thing, and then delivers upon another that is totally obtuse, and contrary, to their word of honor - if that is, any liar, even one that is gift wrapped in different packaging, is ever to be truly trusted? But then, “And What The Hell”, it is only the honor of men like Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln and Roosevelt etc. (as well), that comes into play here - is it not? The only difference is- to those patriots (and other men and women just like them) – “Our Country Came First”, once again in my own humble opinion! And even though not every man or woman can rise to become a president - and lead “Our Nation” with genuine honor, they can (and must) direct “Our Country” with élan, along with the absolute knowledge that: “History, And Especially The Legacy Of Those Americans That Are Yet To Be Born, May Someday Be Watching Closely, In Order To Insure That Any Errors In Judgment Of Those Times Past - Will Not Be Fatally Repeated!!” Hardcore

I have to agree HC - but back then those men - were men of principle - and not political gains. Todays political folks do not have the same characteristics or principles - of those earlier patriot's.
- We have two major issues in this government today. - 1. Is the People we pick to represent us and our Country. (Our fault - yes!) & 2. The Two Party system doesn't work together for the People (Their fault - not ours) - they work for their Party's best interest. Money & Political Gains - dominates our government today. We the people are their prey! They are the benefactors.
