It snowed a bit in West Jefferson, NC about a week ago. I like snow once a year. I guess I would get it if I lived in Barrow.

Snow?We don't need no steeeking snow!!Yesterday and today have been just a little cool (but not quite enough to make a jacket necessary)and sunny with vivid blue skies containing a few wispy white clouds to add contrast. The hardwood forests on the rolling hills of my area are wearing their fall colors and the red/gold contarasts against the blue and white sky paint a truly bueatiful picture.Had a VA appointment yesterday and took the long slow way down the little country roads to get there.Believe the trip did me more good than the appointment.

Good post Doc , got me missing middle TN. Have spent some time there: went to school at MTSU , wife from Nashville with family still there, 5 years at Campbell. Still take Hwy 41 up there sometimes. Thanks for the memories - see you this spring fishing

Well, we woke up to a white and slushy day and more on the way. It would seem that the kiddo ghosts, goblins and Terminators are going to have a tough time collecting their booty this year. Ma nature played a trick it seems.
