FORMER AIR FORCE GENERAL SAYS U.S. WOULD ANNIHILATE NORTH KOREA IN 15 MINUTES FLAT -

RE: https://www.maxim.com/news/us-destro...minutes-2017-8

Tensions between the United States and North Korea have reached a near-breaking point. The ruler of the communist dictatorship has threatened to bomb the US territory of Guam, and President Trump said Tuesday that the DPRK should "not make any more threats to the United States.

"They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen," Trump warned. He went on to say that "they will be met with fire, fury and frankly power the likes of which the world has never seen before."

Speaking to Fox News the day before the president's headline-making statement, retired Gen. Tom McInerney made it clear that just how badly the DPRK would get crushed in a US-North Korea conflict.

McInerney said that if North Korea was on the receiving end of America's "full nuclear retaliatory capability," they'd be obliterated "within minutes."

"If you go to Airborne Alert—we used to call it 'Chrome Dome'—with nuclear weapons," said McInerney, "and then we start building up our other forces, et cetera, he will not last 15 minutes."

While Kim has said the US would fall to "thousands-fold" vengeance from the DPRK, the communist nation has repeatedly made such threats in the past and only followed through with dud missiles in the Sea of Japan and low-yield nukes in caves.

The world is accustomed to North Korean bluster. But when Secretary of Defense James Mattis follows up on the president's statement with one in which he says the "DPRK regime's actions will continue to be grossly overmatched by ours," he's clearly being sincere.

Even Kim Jong Un should be concerned about being on the wrong end of a nuke aimed by a man whose nickname is "Mad Dog."
