He's the chairman of the Democratic National Committee (I think thats his exact title anyhow)... supposedly very powerful party boss.

The percentage of veterans vs. the population of the USA, right now, is about 10% or less. It seems the percentage of the talking heads on the cable news channels, the senators, congressman, and most of those in power positions ( all parties ) falls well short of that figure. I personally do not think that is for the best. IMHO.
