There's a lot of information about convoys and ambushes on this web site, www.atav.us especially if you click on anything about the 8th group or gun trucks.

The correct use of grammar when you give someone an H: "here's an H" not "here's a H'' Today wasn't a total waste for either of us....thanks for the "h" Bob K

One good turn deserves another.....Here's another "m" for grammar then we'll replace the "e" with an "a"....That should do it Bob K

Spell check won't work.....The word you are trying to spell has to closely resemble the word you want before spell check kicks in and corrects the problem. The english language is considered one of the hardest languages to learn, ie: multiple words with the same sound having different meanings (example: threw, through) which is another reason why spell check will not work. We as readers of your posts (which in most cases are interesting) can only guess what you're trying to say. Bob K

Get a copy of the original Declaration of independence and constitution. The ones that were signed by thoes who signed them. AnnnnnD you will find over 180 spelling and germatic errors in just one of these documents, I would submitt that if the spelling in a written piece is more important then the piece then ,to those people I would say, don't read it.

Spell check was not available when the Declaration of Independence was written, But I'm sure they would have used it if it was. Corrections to grammar evolved through (not threw) the years and changes from year to year dependent upon our "literary experts" ( example: when I was young the correct way was "you and I" which has been changed to "you and me") I do believe you were the one who initiated the conversation by correcting my typo which goes back to your comment "I would admit that if the spelling in a written piece is more important then the piece then, to those people I would say, don't read it".
