We are accepting donations to keep patriotfiles up and running online for all to use.
Working on Patriotfiles required a lot of time and still requires lot of time for maintenance. While working on such endeavours gives us both a lot of pleasure, we still would like to share some of the finacial burden.

Dedicated to the preservation of Military History shouldn't be funded by an individual or the people that made the military history. Seems kinda like asking Jeff Gordon to contribute to the NASCAR history.
I don't know anything about government funding for a site that is preservation of Military History but there should be something somewhere. Although I have gotten many a good nights sleep because I was able to talk about what I seen or did in Viet Nam, I just don't have any money to give, I truly wish I did.
This site is important to us that served in VN and is coming more important for those that were in the Gulf war. The Military has an obligation to its people to have such a site. Im not sure where I would turn if it wasn't for Daves site.

Many NASCAR drivers donate to various funds including NASCAR history. Check out the various museums, you'll see numerous items that came from one place....Donations made by the NASCAR owners, teams, and drivers.

I dought that nascars drivers donate Money to nascar, Maybe memorbilia but that is a tax right off for the person who donates it and cost them nothing.
Kinda like asking Micky Mantal to donate money to the baseball hall of fame. He would donate a bat that he signed and then would write off what the market value of that bat is on his income tax.
