Of, By And For The People?

For but a single moment, disregard what you think you know about government, and listen to a different point of view!

Initially, the Federal Government was set up to mediate problems between the individual states. This however, was reversed by Thomas Jefferson, who was (in my opinion) a quintessential supporter of a strong and dominant central establishment, and a Democratic Republican to boot. As a matter of fact, the Articles of Confederation (1781), the Dixie Bible, established a league of the 13 States and provided for the continuance of Congress! So you see, had it not been for these ?Articles?, our government might have ceased to function right then and there!? (opinion)

In the ensuing 222 years, however, the mandates of this esteemed body have been amended, bent, contorted and even bastardized at times to fit the agenda of (usually) the powerful! Back and forth, the laws have rolled (like a tide), depending upon who occupies or manipulates the catbird seat of absolute power!?

Granted, things change, but the basic concept of government is not merely a malleable and vested lump of clay, but rather, more of a rock solid credo of service and dedication! Not ?Self- Service? mind you, and certainly not an elevation to a post of ?Lord and Master!?

?Elections in our nation have taken on an aire of ?Barnum and Bailey?, and the popular vote has been allocated a back seat to ?Power At Any Cost?, even one?s immortal soul!?

Granted again, an awesome responsibility has been placed into the hands of the ?High and the Mighty?, but this is a power with grave responsibilities, and not just the insanity of absolute control for that being and his cronies! And those who seek to capture this power, not for the good of the majority, but rather for the sake of advancement or political banner, are dangerous fools indeed! They strive not for the grandeur and survival of the impossible dream (liberty and democracy), but rather toward the advancement of the few, at the expense of the many!

This agenda has been contorted even more with this (not so) new plunge toward globalization and a (so-called) ?One World Government!? For if this were not so important, would we have tolerated the self-serving escapades of the United Nations and it?s me-ist members for so long? We would have either set it on it?s proper course, or abandoned it all together years ago, like the now defunct League of Nations?

Diplomacy and cutting dangerous deals are one in the same, in my opinion? Neither is geared to work for the people, but rather for the political clique and it?s sometimes bogus image! And these, unfortunately, are the power brokers, who soon after election, revert to their true selves - the real plan from the start I fear!

What is so hard to fathom or understand about equality of being, equal justice, equal rights and equal punishment under an ?EQUAL SYSTEM OF LAWS!??

Although exceedingly more impossible to capture these days, especially within that ?Good Old Boy?s (and girls) Club of Government?, truth too is an ism of monumental proportions and worth. The biggest crime since Eden, however, is the fact that we have become eager and willing to embrace the lie and it?s author, and as such, can any nation long endure?

?This is your country, and its elected executives are just temporarily loaned the vehicle and fuel to transport it in the right direction!? And like those who are hired to run any corporation, if they do not adhere to the will and desires of the Board of Directors (and that is us), they must be replaced with those who will! For government is the tool of the people, and not the other way around, contrary to the arrogant demeanor and dictates of the few to whom power is the ultimate opiate!

?Again, this is your country and yours alone!? It does not belong to the United Nations, NATO, Big Business, or vested politicos, as they rule only by public consent and popular decree! ?Their direction is (or should be) dictated by our direction!? They are not ?Judas Goats?, and we are not a flock of mindless followers!

The greatest powers placed within ?Our Hands? by ?Our Founding Fathers? were the vote, the power to recall, freedom of speech, and the right to bitch up a storm, and translate that ire into action at the poles! Our minds, our souls, and our free will, on the other hand, came from God alone, and not any peer within government!

?WE CREATE AND REGULATE GOVERNMENT, IT DOES NOT RECREATE US!!?

Well my Friend,...I figured it out. You'll just have to get with The Program. Maybe even a rewriting of a standard like: "A Government of The (Public Sector), By The (Public Sector), and For The (Public Sector)" might be helpful? Besides, aren't you more into: "VERITAS", than the normally deceptive and insatiatingly-greedy political norm?

Still, it truly is a shame that people of a country once having a revolution over being taxed 1/2 a cent on a Dollar (Stamp Tax),...nowadays meekly accept being generally and overall taxed about 1/2 a cent on every PENNY EARNED. Is such what's called progress? Believe so in Socialistic and/or not very taxpayer-friendly States like New Jersey.

Not really Friend. Let's just say that I've gotten sick and tired of having people I hired to safeguard and protect my interests,...instead perpetually $crew-me-over and over and over, without even the courtesy of a Thank You note or even a friendly and verbal: "Wam-bam-thank-you-mam". Roses? Forget it.
