Sometimes,...
...I feel if it is not my place to comment on the issues, and persons regarding the Vietnam war, and I didn't know Frank as well as some of you,...
...I read his thoughts, and posts, and considered him to be one of the finest,... ...He passed on my Dad's birthday, and I somehow prefered to say my peace to him through silient prayers after reading posts dedicated to him, ...something strange just happened after I read "Montana Kid's" post, my computer just went to "post reply", and I didn't hit it, and no I'm not drinking,... ...My fingers move slowly when I'm pecking away here, and it's just weird, kinda like him reaching out, and sayin' it's "OK", ..."He's doin' Fine",... ...Amen Frank,... ...

Thanks Danny
Franks finally home.
God bless our Brother. **************** THOUGHTS OF AN OLD SOLDIER As my next heart beat grows further from my first and closer to my last. I look back into the years and to those friends left in my past. Old soldiers whose years now pass. Each day our faces wrinkle our hands callous our hair turns a shade of gray. Our dearest friends grow old no more Their hair will never gray They age no more Not a hour nor a day They feel no pain since the day they fell. Their brows will never crease with worry or some horrid pain. Our memories of them will never cease. a promise made years ago as we stood in the rain. I visited my friends and yes I stood tall But no matter how much I tried I broke and cried As I knew those names upon the Wall. SFC Thomas E. Ward USAR RET 66-67 ********************* May he rest in peace.

WHITEOAK, thanks for the post, Them sudden sandstorms keep appearing everytime I visit a Funeral Parlor or cemetery and this post was the same for me. Frank always reminded me of an Uncle I had who passed away years ago and I hope there is a fishin' hole near that campfire Frank is sittin' near also. "May god bless us all and we meet again when our days are done,Amen."
