Default trying to post some water colors I did at the hospital

I didn't like making moccasins or putting models together so I tried this...

This was 31 DEC 69..first day in combat with 2/22(M).. SP/4 White hits a mine and I got the CO's bloody ( literally ) radio...

probably about the end of November 1969 with my first unit, the 3/22, 25th ID. This was FSB Crook where an NVA human wave attack the previous summer had resulted in 600 - 800 dead NVA and a few American wounded. There were several cleaned NVA skulls on the concertina wire around the FSB.

done at dusk and sometimes at dawn where all guns fired for a minute to disrupt any enemy plans.. since they knew we were going to do it, not sure what real good it did.

we tried to get empty arty or mortar shell boxes..if none..used culverts with sandbags on them
