Need some prayers.

The man cub (in Balad, Iraq) is awaiting the results of the 2007 Chaplains asignment board. He is hoping to be assigned to Ft. Bragg as Command Chaplain for Special Operations Command.
West Point, on the other hand, wants him to teach "Ethics" and be a Chaplain up there. He has told me "Dad, I'd last about as long as you would up at West Point because neither one of us is Politically Correct". He's right....I'd get my butt fired within a week for ignoring the BS and telling the powers that be that "You can't make Chicken Salad out of chicken $hit".

Pray that he gets Ft. Bragg and SOCOM because if he get's it I'm selling the house in Cherry hill and moving to Fayetteville to live out my retirement.

I need to get out of the "Peoples Republic of New Jersey".

One of my very best friends when I was assigned to Bangkok was the detachment chaplain, an awardee of the Silver Star, Third Herd veteran, and former chaplain for the Jump School at Ft. Benning.

colmurph, consider prayers done and continuing for your pup and his next assignment. Roger your sentiments about Hudson High, as we OCS types call it.
