Default Things of great, little, or no consequence.

Bad Habits
I prefer food, cold or heated, right out of a can.
I like warm beer.
I can't sleep without the smell of moldy canvas nearby.

Good Habits
Acquaintances are not friends. Friends are forever, no matter what they do.

Phobias
I have an unreasoning fear of barbed wire fences. They might be wired.
Fireworks are stressful.
Always walk to the side of the sidewalk.

Regrets
Should have adopted an orphan in '75.

Good Karma
Learned and haven't forgotten that there are plenty of better men than me who don't happen to be white. (Rather a big awakening, that one, considerin' how I was raised.)

BAD HABITS
I sometimes chew my cuticles when I get nervous
I cannot get the balance of temperature and food consistency right in cooking

GOOD HABITS
I'm traditional about family rank and authority

PHOBIAS
I do not like, but will if necessary get into, small enclosed spaces

REGRETS
I should have stayed in a full twenty, at least
I should have joined the Marines

GOOD KARMA
I have stood by the Confederacy, and fly her flag, when almost everyone around me mistakenly thinks we were fascist slaveholders.

1980 I had a chance to sign on with Red Adair with his oil well fire fighting crews.

There are a bunch of people walking around on earth right now that wouldn't be if it wasn't for me and my crew, That feels good.

Talking Do we have to?

Bad Habits: Procrastinate too much, Eat too much chocolate
Occassionly Hassel someone too much.

Good Habits: Love just about everybody, Read My Bible Everyday. Make Coffee every morning. Happy almost all the time.
Checking in on Patriotfiles everyday! Go to bed every night with a beautiful wonderful wife.

Phobias: I don't like crawling through tight tunnels.

Regrets: Loaning out books and not getting them back and forgetting to whom I loaned the book.
Made some serious investment mistakes (hindsight). Wish I could have helped some people who wouldn't listen. Maybe if I had put it another way?

Good Karma: Know that by taking on responsibilities: politically, medic/firefighter, professionally I have helped hundreds of people through the tough times of life. Saved a few lives, patched up hundreds.

Bad habits:
Keep quiet all too often and just let things play out when I know better and see the train wreck a coming. Only keep about 80% faithful to my required diet. I?ll puff on a good cigar from time-to time and enjoy a sip of brandy or a light beer once in a while. I can get real feisty when my dander gets worked up and this is quite a contrast to my quiet side that people grow accustom too.

Good habits:
Try to stand clear of people with attitudes. Try not to have an attitude. Try to keep generosity in mind and not ask too many questions when it comes to friends and family. Keep the faith with the true ones in my environment and keep an eye on the scalawags.

Phobias:
Oil field or petro-chem. plant explosions where there is nowhere to run and nowhere to hide. Especially LNG plants and natural gas pipeline compression stations, yikes!!!

Regrets:
I wish I had come equipped with a crystal ball so I could have seen ahead a bit, jut a bit, but some, and not have made some of the stupid emotional decisions I have made.

Good karma:
So far so good, that?s what the guy sad that jumped off the Empire State Building as he passed the 44th floor. Great youngsters, and a fair to partly cloudy former Mrs. I seem to be lucky at staying out of too much trouble, maybe and sometimes.

Jezzz Dan,

I thought I was the only one who got bamboozled by a Gal that swung from both sides of the plate. Luckily, I didn?t marry up to that one but it was a close thing as quite by happenstance I ended up where I wasn?t supposed to be and kazammmmm, some heavy-duty she?n and she?n was coming down, big time. :ek:

I pealed carpet and churned up gravel getting away from that crazy deal. But like I said, poor emotional decisions have been a problem I have had to deal with forever.
