It's crap like that that demeans the VN Vet. Yeh there was dope in-country and I'm sure that a good deal of it ended in the troops hands but I also know that when it came down to it neither I nor any other troop that I was with wanted to be around someone that our lives might depend on being off there in la-la land. There is a reason why they call it dope ain't there?
Gods honest truth, I don't know of one guy ever climb into a tower or crawl into a bunker that was the least bit buzzed out and if there was someone that might be out of it, someone else would stand the gap and cover for the dude. There might have been a few cans of SanMiguel emptied but that was only to cool the pipes in the tropical weather yah know?

Yes that did happen, maybe this site should also have showed the clubs with booze, and dope being used at the same time. On standdown you did something to forget the field, problme was you didn't forget what happened in the field.
